True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1208

Zachary took a shower and changed into some casual clothing. He took one of the treats that she had brought and shoved the whole thing in his mouth.

The mochi made from sticky rice and cream was very sweet.

He didn't eat stuff like this usually.

However, he swallowed it this time. It tasted very sweet.

It was so sweet that it left him longing for more.

He turned to look at Yvonne, who was laying on the bed. He poured himself a glass of wine and walked out with it in his hand.

Soon, the butler noticed him from a distance and came up to him hurriedly. "Young Master Zachary."

Zachary, who was feeling lazy, ordered, "Order the kitchen staff to prepare supper. It has to be ready in two hours. Arrange for someone to serve them at anytime."

"It's all ready. There are main dishes, side dishes, desserts, milk, juice, and drinks. We're waiting for your orders."

Zachary looked at his watch. It was eleven at night.

He said, "Prepare something for me to eat."

"Yes, Young Master Zachary."

Zachary recovered his strength after eating. He then received a call from his mother before he returned to the room.

"Zachary, you've returned to Southland?" There was a hint of surprise in Madam Lowe's tone. There was a heavier sense of gossip in it.

Zachary could tell that his mother had heard some news.

It seemed that the butler had told his mother he had brought Yvonne back with him.

This group of gossipers had told her everything.

Zachary knew what his mother was most concerned about, so he didn't hide the truth from her, "Mom, I have registered my marriage with Maria's mother."

"Ah?" Madam Lowe couldn't help exclaiming, and her breathing became unstable. Then she praised him, "Well done, son."

Zachary didn't know whether to laugh or cry. His mother, a dignified person like her, had always acted like a lady from a respectable family. How could she say something like that?

He shook his head and laughed, saying, "I'm sorry about not informing you earlier. We just got registered this morning."

"It doesn't matter," Madam Lowe laughed brightly and said, "Marriage is a choice of your own. You have the complete right to make your own decisions. I won't interfere, and I won't blame you for not telling me sooner."

"Mom!" Zachary didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He said, "Your support and understanding make me even more apologetic."

"If you're really sorry, hurry up and tell your daughter. Even though Maria didn't say anything these days, it's obvious she misses you. I think she misses her mommy too, but she refuses to admit it."

"Mom, please help me tell Maria." Zachary said, "I will go and talk to her when we come back. Yvonne and I will stay in Southland for a few more days."

"Zachary, now that you two have registered your marriage, what about the wedding? I should start preparing for a wedding, don't I? I should order a wedding dress. Jewelry, yes, Yvonne needs to have all the jewelry. As her mother-in-law, I have to give her the best jewelry." "Mom, I will have to trouble you with this." Zachary was still very polite towards his mother.

"My silly son, you are finally married. I am so happy. I'm sure your father is smiling in heaven," Madam Lowe said sincerely.

At the mention of his father, Zachary paused; he didn't say anything for a long time.

Madam Lowe was smart, and she could tell something was wrong.

"Zachary, what's wrong?"

"Mom!" Zachary paused for a while and said, "Nothing, it's okay."

"You're hiding something from me, aren't you?" Madam Lowe questioned.
