True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1215

Back then, when they were still young, their peers who were all in a relationship would secretly hang out to drink bubble tea and sit on each other's lap to enjoy the drink.

At that time, Zachary was an obedient student. He was envious but did not dare to be involved in a relationship.

Now, he had the courage to do so.

He continued to feed Yvonne while eating some food at the same time. Both of them shared the same set of cutlery and it looked so intimate.

Yvonne heard him whisper, "We have to practice this at home to avoid being embarrassed when we are in public."

"You... You want me to dine on your lap outside?" She couldn't help asking.

"What's the problem with that?"

Yvonne was so startled that she nearly choked on her food.

Zachary quickly patted her back and gave her some water, advising her, "Be careful. You don't need to be startled like a child."

"Zachary," Yvonne tilted her head to stare at him before asking, "I'm almost in my thirties, and you want me to sit on your lap and dine publicly? Are you not disgusted by such actions?"

She felt that it was so embarrassing.

"It's not disgusting," Zachary said in a deep voice, "In fact, I think that it's pretty amazing. It's a kind of love."

"I can understand if it's love, but can you not be such a show-off?" Yvonne couldn't accept it and explained to Zachary, "At home, I can accompany you to do whatever you want. It doesn't matter since no one is here to watch us. But I just can't accept doing things that are not meant for our age in public."

"We were not together back then," Zachary suddenly muttered, a hint of loneliness detected in his tone.

Yvonne was absolutely stunned in an instant.

At the end of the day, he had been hurting for many years. Even though he said that he would not cling to the past, he still needed time to let go of the past.

Yvonne remained silent for a moment, but in the end, she couldn't bear to reject him.

She gave in, "Fine, if you really think that is appropriate then I can give it a shot."

Zachary was dumbfounded.

Yvonne stared into his eyes and cupped his handsome face with both hands. She uttered slowly and clearly, "Zachary, let's go and watch a movie. After we have finished our lunch and you are done with the company's affairs, let's go to the theatre."

If he really felt remorseful that they didn't spend their youth together, she wanted to create new memories for him to wash away that pain.

She would be willing to accompany him and make up for the past, and to do things that they were supposed to do during their teens.

"A movie?" Zachary was puzzled for a moment before nodding, "Sure, let's go for a movie."

Indeed, they should go and watch a movie together because they had never done so in the past. This was a must-do for a couple.

However, he had not thought of this.

Yvonne looked at him being in a daze. She didn't know what he was thinking, so she helped grab some food and fed him.

She was seated right on his thigh. His powerful muscles made Yvonne's body tense up.

During the meal, he was so willful that he would not allow Yvonne to get off his lap, and she didn't leave either.

They were the only people inside the dining room and no one else came in.

Hence, she was not that shy or embarrassed.

After nearly an hour of eating, they finally finished their lunch.

Zachary asked, "Are you done eating?"

"Yes," Yvonne nodded.

Zachary immediately picked her up and put her on the countertop. Then, he took a step back and just stared at her.

Yvonne felt that Zachary was too clingy.

"Let me down. Aren't you busy?"
