True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1227

"Heinz, why are you yelling? I heard you yelling from across the hallway. What happened to your cool and cold attitude back when you were seduced by the movie actress?"

Heinz was astonished.

"What?" Gary, who had stepped into the hallway, turned back and looked at Heinz. He narrowed his eyes and asked, "What movie actress seduced him?"

Grace laughed, "It's Cindy White. It was ages ago, but I always teared up from laughing whenever I recalled your father's face back then. Now I'm getting old and I find that I always have flashbacks about the past."

"Cindy White?" Gary's expression changed as he frowned. A gleam flashed through his eyes as he glanced at his parents.

Heinz also frowned. Grace loved to use this to make fun of him. It was a decade ago and he could still remember it vividly. Back then, it was the day Grace and he met, and Grace had seen Cindy seducing him in the lounge at a banquet.

He had a clear conscience. There was no way he would fall in love with Cindy, nor did he have the slightest feeling towards her.

However, his wife insisted on making fun of him. He felt very helpless, especially in front of the children. Heinz felt a little guilty when he looked at his son.

Grace smirked and explained, "Little Gary, it has nothing to do with your father. I know he had no choice but I find it hilarious. Back then he was cold and indifferent, but who would have thought that he would turn into this old guy who's easily angered."

"Isn't it better since he's more humorous now?" Gary walked up to his mother and wrapped his arm around his mother's shoulders. He looked at Heinz and teased, "I didn't expect that you would have a fling with an actress. What if I have fallen in love with the actress's daughter and we get married. Wouldn't it be awkward for you?"

Heinz was dumbfounded. After a moment of shock, he stared at Gary and couldn't help muttering, "Cindy doesn't have a daughter, does she?"

Gary shrugged.

Meanwhile, Grace gaped and tilted her head to stare at Gary in bewilderment, "Little Gary, you're not serious, are you?"

Recently, there were rumors saying that Cindy had a fifteen-year-old daughter who had just returned to the country at ten years old after living overseas for the majority of her childhood. She was extremely gorgeous and was very obedient, but Cindy had yet to admit it. Rumours were everywhere, so it was difficult to say if it was true or not.

Gary glanced at his parents playfully and let go of Grace's shoulder. He commented lazily, "See? That's why you shouldn't play with someone else's heart. If not, you'll have to reap what you sow. I was just joking with you guys, and you were so frightened about it. That's really lame."

After saying that, Gary rolled his eyes and left.

"Little Gary, are you serious or are you just joking with us?" Grace shouted from behind.

Gary waved his hand and left them with one last sentence, "Mommy, if I'm serious, you can't stop me. I have the right to choose who I fall in love with."

Grace panicked and said, "As long as it's not a man, I won't interfere."

Heinz glanced at his son with a look of helplessness in his eyes. What mother would think of their son like that?

To be attracted to men?

Gary didn't even look like he was interested in men.

As Heinz's son, he was definitely someone with a great future.

Besides, he was only 16 years old, and he was still underage. Why should he be in a hurry to fall in love?

As a response, Gary waved his hand lazily and disappeared into the corridor.

Only then did Heinz recall the important issue at hand and asked, "Honey, did you know Gary and Ernest are going to study abroad?"

Grace was stunned for a moment. Then, she avoided his eyes and said, "Well, I suddenly remembered. I'm still brewing a pot of soup. I'll go and see if it's done."
