After the message was sent, Celeste avoided Liam's gaze carefully. She didn't want him to find out that she had sent a message to Maria. However, she found Liam looking at her.
Celeste was stunned and felt a little guilty. She immediately put her phone into her pocket and flashed a smile at him.
Just then, her phone rang.
She was stunned and took out her phone, quickly saying, "I'll answer the phone first."
Liam smiled, indicating that she could do as she pleased.
Celeste nodded slightly and answered the phone.
It was Maria. She was so excited after she read Celeste's message and couldn't wait any longer.
Sure enough, as soon as Celeste picked up the phone, she heard Maria's scream.
"Celeste, is it true? Am I dreaming? Tell me, tell me quickly, I'm not dreaming, right?"
"No, it's true," Celeste whispered back.
"Oh my God!"
Maria screamed again.
Her voice was just too loud.
Celeste put the phone some distance away out of instinct before replying softly, "Well be at the school soon. Hurry up."
"Okay, I'll go right away," Maria got up quickly. The next moment, a loud clattering could be heard. It was as if Maria was busy scrambling to her feet and had hit something in the process.
It seemed that she was really excited.
"Alright then," Celeste hung up the phone. She was afraid that if she talked too much, Liam would find out.
After she put down the phone, she saw Liam looking at her with a smile.
Celeste felt guilty and said in a hurry, "That was my classmate, we study together."
"She's one of my fans?" Liam asked with a smile.
Celeste was stunned for a moment and nodded quickly, "Yes, your fan. In fact, she's a die hard fan."
Liam chuckled. His sunny smile was appropriate. It was clean and pure, and people couldn't see through his thoughts.
His smile was like a mask that could easily conceal his emotions.
Celeste had a feeling that he didn't seem to like the situation very much.
In a split second, he turned around and cast his gaze on the window of the car. His aura had changed, and the atmosphere in the car was suddenly heavy.
Even though Celeste did not do anything, it was suffocating.
She was a little stunned and looked at Liam with embarrassment.
Had he figured out her plan?
She sneaked a glance at Liam. He was looking out of the window and looked like he was in a daze.
"Um, Mr. Robinson."
"Just call me Liam," Without looking back, Liam commented lightly, "I thought that it would be quieter here. I didn't expect to meet my fans."
Celeste was stunned. He was probably used to being harassed by fans. He thought that Maria would do something irrational like the other fans.
However, Maria was different.
Celeste still tried to explain, "Mr. Robinson."
"Call me Liam," He corrected her again.
Celeste was dumbfounded. She regained her composure and explained, "Liam, my friend is one of your super fans."
The corners of Liam's lips twitched as he let out a soft laugh, which carried a hint of mockery.
Celeste felt a little uncomfortable instantly.
"Liam, do you think that all your fans like harassing you?"
Liam could tell from Celeste's tone that she was angry.
He was slightly surprised. He turned around and looked at Celeste.
