True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1304

Celeste was dumbfounded and didn't know how to reply to her.

Grace smirked again and explained, "Of course, we won't bully her. We'll only be having a conversation with her. You have to believe that a lot of things can be solved through words."

"Auntie, are you going to have a conversation with my aunt?"

Celeste was very anxious. Her aunt was someone very sharp, and she had a very bad temper. Nevertheless, Grace seemed like she was someone who had everything planned out and that made Celeste feel assured.

Grace nodded and answered, "I think it's time for us to meet up."

"But I know that my aunt is not someone who is easily convinced," Celeste hesitated, but she still spoke about the worries she had in mind.

Grace only laughed, "Celeste, don't overthink things. You are too young to be thinking about all these. You'll only tire yourself out. Just concentrate on your studies and enjoy yourself."

Celeste naturally understood what Grace meant. However, she was not the kind of child who could enjoy herself at will.

"Tell me, if your aunt really cut off all ties with you, are you not planning to care about her in the future?" Seeing that Celeste had fallen silent, Grace decided to ask.

Celeste paused for a second and shook her head.

She didn't really need to give it much thought.

"Mrs. Smith, no matter what happens, nothing can change the fact that I was adopted by my aunt. For so many years, she had given me a home and supported me. Although we are in this mess now, after I grow up, as long as she needs any help, I will help her on the premise that I don't violate the law or my moral conscience. If she needs me to support her one day, I will be willing to help her."

Her decision came despite the fact that they were in a terrible fight.

Nothing could change the fact that Cindy was the person who raised her.

Hence, Celeste had never thought of cutting Cindy off from her life.

Upon hearing this, Grace had a delighted smile on her face. She seemed to be very satisfied with Celeste's answer. From this, it could be deduced that Celeste was a very kind and benevolent child.

"Good girl. One day, you will be rewarded for your kind actions," Grace patted Celeste on the shoulder and said, "That is how it should be. Humans cannot hold grudges for too long, and they cannot be too heartless."

Celeste looked at Grace in surprise.

She did not expect Grace to say that. Her smile was so warm and kind. She looked at Grace, only to find that Grace's gaze was warm and tender.

"I understand," Celeste also gathered up her courage and smiled at Grace.

"About this, Uncle Jones and I will have a discussion with her, and we will try to convince her to continue to be your guardian. If she insists on cutting off all ties, we will have no choice but to respect her decision. When that happens, we are willing to become your guardian."

Celeste was surprised and asked, "Y-you want to become my guardian?"

Grace smiled and nodded, "Only if Cindy insists on cutting off all ties."

Celeste nodded and answered softly, "Thank you, Aunt Smith," She addressed Grace more intimately now after the explanation.

"Great. Now, pack up and come back with us first. It's not safe and convenient to live in a hotel. Let's go home first. You'll have Maria and the rest of us to accompany you," Grace chuckled.

Celeste was initially very hesitant, but under the influence of Grace's kind and gentle smile, she eventually packed up her things and followed Grace back.

On the other end, Cindy was exasperated the moment she returned to the hotel.

For the entire night, she couldn't even keep her emotions under check.

When her assistant, Katherine Yates, came over and saw that she was so frustrated, she decided to persuade Cindy, "Why do you have to be so angry? She is just a child."

"She's a child without conscience," Cindy cursed.

"I think she has a conscience," Katherine whispered, "The child is afraid that you are still not over Heinz and you might possibly destroy his marriage. After all, he is her classmate's father."

"So you're saying that I'm wrong and she's right?" Cindy raised her eyebrows at Katherine and shouted impatiently.

"Cindy, are you still in love with Heinz?" Katherine quickly followed up.

Cindy frowned. When she thought of Heinz, a bunch of emotions welled up in her heart. She was agitated as well and sighed, "I'm upset. I'm just very angry."

"You haven't answered my question yet."

"I won't answer that," Cindy shouted in a childish way, "I just want to buy that house. I have to."

"Then buy it. If you have money, you can buy it," Katherine smirked and continued, "It's not like you if you don't spend money after earning them."

"Are you mocking me?" Cindy glared at Katherine.

Katherine sighed, "Cindy, we have known each other for so many years. Are you really willing to see Celeste leave?"

Cindy froze, and she looked even more awkward.
