True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1319

"That being said, this is not how the world works. Celeste has been missing for so many days, but you haven't even tried to look for her. You are still in the mood to buy a house and take part in various shoots in London. Are you not afraid that your actions might actually cause her to actually go missing?"

Cindy felt a pang of guilt listening to her words.

However, she was still stubborn, "I deliberately let her suffer."

"She's underage and hasn't returned for so many days. Aren't you worried?" Hermione scoffed, "Cindy, do you think everyone else is a fool?"

Cindy's face darkened, "No matter what you say, I will not forfeit being her guardian."

Everyone could see how hard-headed Cindy was.

Heinz's gaze was sharp, "You must have the capital in order to continue being her guardian."

To refuse giving up ownership but insisting on treating Celeste unkindly was simply despicable.

Cindy's expression froze and she said through gritted teeth, "Heinz, that's precisely why I'd like to ask you to return me the things in the email. Then, I'll bring Celeste with me and I'll leave you alone for the rest of your life."

"The things in the email?" Heinz frowned and asked with slight surprise, "What email?"

"You sent me an email to threaten me because you want to compete for being Cindy's guardian, don't you?" Cindy explained, "I know it's you. You don't have to pretend."

"What email?" Grace also looked at her husband in surprise. She didn't know. Did Heinz do something behind her back?

Seeing as his wife was looking at him, Heinz was even angrier and shot back, "I don't know what you are talking about. Why don't you take it out and let's have a look?"

"You..." Cindy's face drained of colour before blushing furiously. She growled softly, both ashamed and furious, "You know that I can't show it to others. You're just doing it on purpose!"

"It can't be shown to others?" Heinz noticed her concern at one glance. He squinted his eyes and looked around sharply, "If that's the case, the contents of this email is really worth scrutinizing." "Heinz Jones," Cindy stood up. She really couldn't sit still since the existence of that video made her feel as if she was sitting in a pile of needles. She snapped, "Can you stop pretending?"

"I really don't know what you are talking about. I have never sent you an email, nor have I ever asked anyone to send it to you. Therefore, no matter how indecent the content could be, I have no idea what it is. If you doubt it, then you should report it to the police," Heinz was solemn.

"It's you. Who else can it be except for you?" Cindy glared at Heinz.

"I don't agree with what you said," Heinz smirked coldly, "Your niece is indeed in our house, but I have no idea about the email."

"I don't believe you."

"I don't need you to believe me," Heinz replied succinctly, "You'd better forfeit the title as Celeste's guardian. If not, I'm not sure if I can withhold my curiosity from searching for that email of yours and actually using it to threaten you to give up guardianship over Celeste."

"You're despicable."

Heinz sneered and looked at her indifferently, "Whatever you say."

"Cindy," Katherine couldn't keep up with the situation. She didn't know what was going on, thus she could only whisper to Cindy, "What email? Why am I not aware of this?"

Cindy glanced at her and met her shocked and puzzled gaze. She immediately avoided it.

She couldn't say it. Katherine was her assistant. If she told Katherine, this would definitely be known to her manager.

Although she had the same motive as her manager, she had done this behind her manager's back. Cindy didn't wish for her manager to know or be involved in this. Therefore, she couldn't tell Katherine about this either.

"Don't ask," Cindy didn't tell her.

"But if you don't tell me, how can we solve this problem effectively?" Katherine looked at her in dismay, "Let's reach an agreement first so that we can solve this problem."

Cindy ignored her and remained silent for a while. She turned to Heinz and said, "Heinz, how about I hand over Celeste to you and you delete everything in the email. How about this?"

"Cindy, think twice about it," Katherine was stunned. She didn't expect Cindy to give up so easily. The contents of the email must be something very serious.

Cindy's expression sank. She gnashed her teeth and said, "I've thought about it. I can't let them ruin my lifelong reputation."

"Cindy White," Heinz said again, "We are very happy that you are willing to hand over the title of being Celeste's guardian, but I still have to say that I was not the one who sent the email to you."

"You didn't send it to me?" Cindy was a little stunned.

"It's really not me," Heinz was absolutely serious.

"Miss White, did you offend someone?" Grace took this time to ask, "Did someone send something to you?"

"Isn't it obvious enough?" Hermione rolled her eyes, "Just look at her! She's probably offending people everywhere she goes. I really don't understand. Why does an actress like her choose to stoop so low?"

Cindy pursed her lips and suddenly panicked.

She noticed that Heinz had denied everything calmly.
