"Celeste, you are so bold to come to the airport on your own. Where are Maria and Ernest? Didn't they accompany you here?"
"No, they don't know about it either," Celeste shook her head and told him honestly, "I wasn't plan on coming here in the first place."
Her slender wrist was still in Gary's grasp. His hands were very huge, and his strength was also very great. He had no intention of letting her go.
The taxi was still waiting, so Celeste had to close the door and let the driver leave first.
"I thought you came to the airport to pick me up because you predicted that I would come to London," Gary complained, "Then what are you doing here?"
"No, I came to the airport to meet Liam," Celeste told him frankly, "I didn't expect you to be here."
Upon hearing that the person she met was Liam, Gary frowned. That name had not been mentioned in the last four years.
However, he had met with Liam several times.
Why would Celeste meet up with Liam in private?
"Why did you meet him?" Gary's tone was very cold, "What's there to meet for? Couldn't you tell him anything he needed on the phone?"
"Oh, he apologized to me. It was about the thing that happened four years ago. He misunderstood me," Celeste explained, "I didn't want to see him. It was the first time I saw him in four years and we only spoke a few words. I know how to keep my boundaries."
Hearing that they had met for the first time in four years and seeing that she was afraid of being misunderstood, Gary felt relieved.
He slowly calmed himself down. Then, he looked at Celeste's red cheeks.
It was very attractive.
Meanwhile, Celeste was confused as to why he was looking at her.
"How long will you be here?" Celeste looked at him and frowned, asking, "Didn't you say that I wouldn't be allowed to go to Boston even if you didn't come to London? Why did you suddenly change your mind?"
"I want you," He looked at her, and his eyes were gleaming. He suddenly declared, "You're in your twenties. It's about time."
What the hell!
Almost immediately, Celeste blushed furiously.
"Yo-you." She stammered.
Gary was so extreme. He was either extremely vague or the other way round, catching people off guard and making them embarrassed.
Then, Gary held Celeste in his arms. He whispered in Celeste's ear in a low and hoarse voice, "I have waited for this day for a long time. Celeste, not everyone can endure it. Do you know how hard it is for me to wait?"
Celeste's head was pounding, and every word was like a thunderclap in her ear.
"Don't say it," She stopped him quickly.
It was not suitable for him to say something like this in a crowded airport.
"Alright, let's go back. Let's go back to your room and talk," Gary wrapped his arms around Celeste.
Celeste was very embarrassed, especially when he held her in his arms. He was simply halfhugging her.
She struggled to shake off his arm, but he was so strong that she couldn't pull it off at all.
"Don't move."
Gary couldn't take it anymore now that she was moving around in his embrace. Moving around like this made him very uncomfortable.
Celeste seemed to have felt the tension in Gary's tone. She was so scared that she froze. Hence, she could only raise her eyes to look at Gary.
Gary lowered his head and looked at her. The two of them exchanged glances.
Celeste's blushing face and her bashful look made her even more embarrassed. Her heart was threatening to leap out of her chest.
However, Gary seemed oblivious and continued teasing her. "Celeste, the UK is famous for their enthusiastic yet courteous gentlemen. Since you have been abroad for four years, have you been influenced by them?"
