True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1346

"As my girlfriend, why do you want others to know?" Gary asked again, "Celeste, are you living your life for others?"

"No," Celeste shook her head, "Since I'm your girlfriend now, I have no objections."

"You wouldn't have any objections even if I wanted you today?" Gary looked at her with a look of anticipation in his eyes.

Here he goes again.

It seemed that she wouldn't be able to escape it today.

"Answer all my questions, and I'll answer yours," Celeste plucked up her courage to look seriously at him, "That girl was very straightforward with you. Do you have a close relationship with her?"

"No," Gary shook his head and said directly, "She's a friend of Lowell's."

"You're living with Lowell. Since she's Lowell's friend, I assume that she often goes in and out of your apartment?" Celeste's questions followed closely one after another.

Gary was startled. A look of admiration flashed across his eyes. She was quite sharp.

"Yes," He nodded, not having any intention of avoiding the question.

"So you're familiar with each other?"

"We often meet."

"Do you look up to her?" Celeste questioned.

Gary looked directly into Celeste's eyes. It was obvious that he knew about Celeste's sensitive nature, and he started to laugh.

"Are you jealous of her?"

"Answer my question," Celeste insisted.

Gary nodded and didn't evade her question, answering, "I really admire her. She's very open-minded and is humourous. She is flexible in her mindset, decisive in her actions, and doesn't act like a delicate girl."

"Then is it more appropriate for her to be your girlfriend than me?" Although Gary was telling the truth, Celeste was still sad when she heard him say this.

The boy she liked had praised another girl in front of her. That girl had even made some ambiguous jokes with him. These were actions that she couldn't do.

It was impossible for her even if she tried to do it.

Celeste could feel her inferiority rearing its ugly head.

After all, she was still not strong enough. She really disliked herself.

She felt so distressed that she had no idea how to deal with it.

How could someone with such a weak mindset like hers study overseas?

Celeste performed in her subjects very well. She got a double degree at a very young age and was excellent in terms of her studies. However, in terms of personality, she seemed to always be so underperforming.

It didn't feel very good.

When Gary heard her question, he frowned. He didn't like Celeste asking him that.

That question made him furious.

After all, this meant that she was doubting herself.

It also meant that she was not confident in herself.

Celeste's attitude made Gary's heart ache a little. He squinted his eyes as he asked, "Celeste, I didn't give you enough security, did I?"

Celeste could feel a pang of pain in her heart. It made it difficult for her to breathe.

"Well, I can answer you. I never looked for other girls to be my girlfriend. Even if I, Gary Smith, had over a hundred girls chasing after me in the United States, I would never fall in love with them."

Celeste was stupified.

More than a hundred?

He didn't fall in love with them? Did he have a heart of stone?

"I just want to sleep with you. I don't have such a strong desire for other girls. I only wanted you all the time, and I just want to do it with you. I'm being as frank as possible. Do you understand me?"

Celeste was stunned, and her heart suddenly softened.

She suddenly realised that she was quite vulnerable.

Gary also let out a sigh. He knew why Celeste always felt like this. This was because the of environment where she grew up that contributed to a personality that lacked a sense of security.

He knew everything.
