Looking at Janice who was blocking his way, Gary's squinted eyes were filled with blazing flames.

D*mn it, Janice actually had the audacity to follow him to Edinburgh. She was continuously pestering him shamelessly.

She really came to Edinburgh carrying just a backpack. By the looks of it, she had come alone.

Her presence really haunted him everywhere he went.

Gary did not get out of the car. He just looked at her coldly, disgusted by her sudden appearance.

At that moment, his handsome face was covered with dark clouds. Janice, who was in front of the car, could feel his wrath clearly, even though there was a windscreen in between the two of them.

Oh no, she was doomed.

Seeing that he did not respond, Janice felt a little bit guilty. She quickly walked over and was ready to open the car door of the passenger seat to get in.

Unexpectedly, before she could touch the door handle, the car flew away at high speed, like an arrow leaving its bow.

Janice almost fell to the ground because of the momentum of the car.

She was bewildered as she watched the car leave. Her eyes widened in shock, and her heart was beating incredibly fast as she felt her blood turn cold. She almost got run over by a car.

"Hey!" She stood on the side of the road with her hands on her hips and shouted at the leaving car, "Are you even human?"

The man in the car smirked slightly, and the coldness on the corner of his lips were enough for those who saw him to shirk away in fear.

"D*mn it, I can't believe he did this to me," Janice growled. She took out her phone in frustration and gave Lowell a call.

"Lowell, your nephew is being so annoying. He has a car but he refuses to give me a ride. He is hiding from me like I'm some kind of disease. I'm alone in England, but he is not taking care of me."

Lowell's voice came from the other end of the line, and he sounded really gentle, "Is that so? I'll give him a call in a while. Where are you now?"

"I'm alone in Edinburgh. It's so scary," Janice said in a pitiful tone, "He's so mean! Is he even human?"

Lowell was very surprised and asked, "You went to Edinburgh, and he was there as well?"

"Yes," Janice didn't think about anything else and explained bluntly, "I saw him just now. He was driving a car, but he didn't offer to fetch me."

"Since he's also in Edinburgh, you won't be alone," Lowell assured her, "Gary enjoys peace and quiet. If you keep messing around with him, he'll probably get annoyed."

"Are you helping him or are you helping me?" Janice pouted bitterly. Finally, she let out a sigh and said, "Forget about it. I just called you to complain. You don't need to call him. I can handle everything myself."

"You really don't need me to give him a call?" Lowell was still very gentle and spoke with a caring tone, "Didn't you say he's in Edinburgh? I'll help you ask around."

"There's no need to," Janice chuckled, "I can handle it by myself. I am not that afraid. Don't worry about it."

"I'm still quite worried anyway," Lowell was still concerned.

With that, Janice changed the topic, "What are you doing?"

"I'm in the lab." "Oh my, you're so boring. You're always in the lab.

You're no fun." "Well, I don't think so," Lowell's tone was as gentle as ever, just like his personality.

"Oh well, my great scientist, you can continue with your experiments. I'm going to have fun on my own," Janice felt much better after making a call. At the very least, she didn't feel so angry anymore.

Meanwhile, Gary got rid of Janice and continued his drive on the road.

When he received Lowell's call, he picked it up feeling quite annoyed. Needless to say, he knew that it was Janice who called Lowell.

"Lowell, you'd better not talk to me about Janice," Gary sounded very impatient.

"If you are saying this, you should be aware that you failed as a gentleman," Lowell laughed, "She's a poor girl stranded in Edinburgh, and she just lost her purse a few days ago. She really could use your help."

"If you can't take care of your own woman, why are you pushing her to me?" Gary got really irritated the moment he thought about her.

"What do you mean 'my woman¹?" Lowell raised his tone in an instant, "Don't ever say that."

"If she's not your woman, then why do you care so much about her?" Gary's tone was also impatient, "I have already tried my best to help, and I have done my part. Lowell, please don't interfere in matters that we can ignore. Just let it be."
