True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1442

Liam's brows twitched a little; he long felt as if waves were surging fiercely deep within.

His voice was slightly hoarse as he said. "Really? You actually had such dreams?"

"What you dream at night is what you think in the daytime," Maria muttered. "Haven't you heard of such a saying?"

Liam kept quiet and just looked at the girl. The beautiful face before him had a heart- aching stubbornness.

After a long while, Liam's deep gaze fell on her lips, and he kept staring at it, unmoving.

Maria's misty gaze met his, and her smile became even more lovely all of a sudden. "Just like this. You would smile at me in my dreams every time; you would even kiss me."

Liam's eyes tightened again, blood rushing upward.

His head felt a little giddy, probably because he was drunk.

He took a deep breath, trying to control himself.

"I know that is just a dream." Maria muttered, "I

know Liam will never treat me so gently after I wake up. But it's nice to have such dreams, isn't it? One should know to be content."

Her smile was absolutely adorkable; it was heartwrenching.

Liam moved closer all of a sudden.

Maria's eyes widened, a little shy and nervous surprisingly.

"Don't move." He whispered.

"I won't." Obediently, she looked at him.

After a while, Liam pressed his lips against hers. The soft touch made her heart tremble; it seemed as if her blood was running in the opposite direction.

She nervously grabbed the shirt by his chest.

Surprised, Liam deepened his kiss. At first, he cupped her face, then slowly, his hands moved downward, hugging her.

Maria was trapped in Liam's embrace.

Her heart was beating like a drum.

They were hotheaded, unsure of whether it was the taste in their mouth or the fragrance of the wine.

Maria didn't know when Liam had pressed himself on top of her. Lying on the carpet, he lowered his head to peck her lips; she felt the dream was simply too beautiful.

After a long time, Liam's breathing became heavy.

He retreated a little and looked down at Maria.

Maria's slightly red lips parted. She gasped for air, and her vision was misty.

But now, she was unhappy that he parted. She reached out to wrap her arms around his neck as she mumbled. "Please don't leave me, Liam."

The atmosphere suddenly froze, but at the same time, she brought him closer to her. Her smile became even more adorkable. "Can we continue, please?"

"Maria," he whispered, there was contradictory in his tone. "I can't hurt you. I don't want to take advantage of you."

The last bit of consciousness within him warned him not to continue.

He must be too feeble that day to have acted so.

"I'm not afraid. I don't care." She shook her head after giving it a thought, "It's just a dream; what are you afraid of? Even I'm not afraid. It'll all go back to square one when I wake up anyway."

He was stunned for a moment.

Maria tilted her head slightly, wanting to see if it was a dream. But as soon as she turned her head, her thick long eyelashes gently brushed past his cheek.

Liam felt as if an electric current ran through him, his breathing stopped for a moment, and his last bit of consciousness was all gone.

"Maria." He warned in a whisper.

"Hmm?" Maria finally came back to her senses a little. "This is not a bed. I don't want to do it on the ground. Let's go to the bed, okay?"

Her words brought away all his consciousness. He pulled her up, and the two of them stumbled into the bedroom.

Liam's gaze was like a giant net, capturing Maria. She could no longer run away from him.

As she laid on the bed, she suddenly became a little puzzled. "Why has my bed become so big?"

Slightly taken aback, he replied, "This is my bed."

"Why is it yours? This is my dream. Why do you still have to argue with me in my dreams?" She seemed to be a little emotional yet adorable. "Whatever, so be it. Liam, I will earn a lot of money to support you in the future. So don't worry, okay?"

Liam's eyes narrowed. Moved, a beam flashed in his eyes. He cupped her cheek and forcefully kissed her, not wanting to move.

It was deep, heavy, and it carried a moving feeling. Maria was short of breath almost in an instant.

After that, they did not stop.

It wasn't until after a long time a sense of pain drove the drunkenness away in Maria.

It was only then she realized what they were doing. She stared at him, wide-eyed.
