True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1453

Liam didn't say anything but merely stared at her. His gaze was brilliant, surging, hearttrembling.

At first, he waited for her at home, but he came out after growing impatient from not receiving her call after a long time.

However, she was nowhere to be seen, so he drove back, and then out again. At last, she showed up after he had repeatedly driven in and out several times.

Surprised, Maria asked, "Why are you looking at me like this?" Her breathing grew slightly rapid; even her voice was trembling.

Liam's handsome face was right in front of her, and his eyes never left hers; he even reached out to gently brush her hair to the back of her ear.

How intimate.

Maria's face flushed.

Her heart trembled uncontrollably.

"I've been waiting for you to call me back so that I can pick you up," he finally said, "I've waited for a long while."

Judging from his tone, he seemed to be very disappointed. Was he really looking forward to her phone call that badly?

Maria's heart surged; emotions fleeted through her at that moment. She wondered if she had the privilege to believe he also liked her.

"Sorry, I was out for a bit. I didn't know you're waiting for my call," she mumbled.

"It's alright," he shook his head, "I could've picked you up."

"No, it's not hard for me to get a taxi," Maria didn't want to bother him, so she didn't think twice about it.

"Don't you want me to fetch you?" he said lightly, a little disappointed.

Nervous, she shook her head foolishly and said, "No, that's not it."

"So you want me to?" he asked.

"Yeah," Maria nodded honestly before shaking her head again, "I just didn't want to trouble you."

"Do you have to always be so courteous to me?" he asked again, "Even after all that we've done?"

Dumbfounded, astonishment and panic rippled across her face, and her face flushed at once.

Liam smiled, satisfied with her reaction.

Very soon, they arrived at his house. As soon as Maria was done changing her shoes, he swept her into his arms before she could say anything.

Her heart pounded wildly.

Liam was tall, and he carried an imposing aura. His breath brushed on her, leaving her senseless.

He lowered his head in search of her lips and kissed her.

Maria was astonished; within that moment, she could feel his raging emotions and no longer forbearing.

After parting for one night, he could no longer stay sensible; this was all he wanted.

Without further ado, he scooped her off the floor and headed straight for the bedroom.

After devouring her once again, only one word was inscribed in his mind, delicious.

To him, this was what every man desired. He couldn't stop wanting more.

He couldn't resist the urge; all he wanted to do was have her, to give her pleasure.

He couldn't help thinking if he'd gone mad. Even he was surprised by his maddening behavior.

Being devoured just like that as soon as they entered his house, Maria felt delighted, aggrieved, sad, and indescribably fearful.

Because from the beginning to the end, he did as he pleased, not asking her even once.

About an hour later, Maria finally broke the silence, "Did you ask me to come, just for this?"

Stunned, he asked when he saw the emotions in her eyes, "You don't like this?"

"It's not that," Maria immediately shook her head.

It wasn't that she didn't like it, but she couldn't take doing it as soon as they met.

"Maria," Liam smiled and called out to her softly; a sly smile lingered at the corner of his mouth. "See, you shook your head. That means you enjoy this too, right?"

It was then she realized he had misunderstood her. She shook her head again and explained in a panic, "It's not that I don't like it, but I don't hate it either. What I mean is, can't we do something else besides this?"

"What would you like to do then?" Liam asked with a smile.

His smile was brilliant, and so were his eyes. He looked very gentle.
