True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1460

Even though Liam didn't want to admit it, he had to admit that his life was brighter with Maria in it.

Perhaps he had been too lonely. Hence, the warmth Maria brought him had given him the will to live.

"Really?" Despite her best efforts, her tears still fell. Nevertheless, Maria was all smiles. "You finally realize how great I am?"

"You're amazing, Maria." He smiled too, with tears in his eyes, as well.

His expression was filled with affection as he gazed at her.

Liam's hand even caressed the screen gently, trying to wipe away her tears and wrap her in his arms.

"Maria, you really are a silly girl. I don't deserve you," Liam said warmly.

"No, you're worth it. I know you are," Maria replied honestly.

"Maria, I really regret what I did. I was horrible to you back in England, and yet you're still so good to me. Why are you so foolish?"

He poured his heart out during their video call.

Hence, Liam felt incredibly relaxed. He felt lucky to be able to call himself Maria's boyfriend.

He was finally able to stand by her side without feeling like an outsider.

He had been sidelined from the industry regardless, and he didn't care what would happen. So what if he wasn't a movie star?

He could still live on, and there were other things he could do after his contract ended. No matter what, Liam decided that he would not live under someone else's mercy for the rest of his life.

Furthermore, Maria was the light of his life; she had given him a lot of comfort. Although their time together was short, her comfort was beyond everything.

As soon as she left, a lot of thoughts would creep through his head.

Perhaps it was because he was touched, but he felt very satisfied indeed.

Maria finally stopped crying and smiled brightly at him. "Liam, I'm your girlfriend now, right?"

"Yes, you are my girlfriend." He once again confirmed her doubts earnestly.

"What do I do? I won't be able to sleep tonight for sure." Maria was excited beyond belief. She lay on her bed as she said coyly, "I really want to see you. I'm so excited! How about I go to your place in the middle of the night?"

Liam chuckled as he drew near to the screen; his eyes dark as he said, "Although I really want to go get you, I know your dad's going to be pissed. Well meet tomorrow morning, okay? Good girls don't sneak out in the middle of the night."

"But I miss you." Maria still wanted to go to him.

"I miss you too." The corners of his mouth raised upwards. "But I'd feel bad if my girlfriend keeps coming to see me in the middle of the night."

"Fine..." Maria nodded as she looked at his handsome face. Then, she blushed at thought of being his girlfriend.

"Don't stay up too late. Well be able to see each other tomorrow morning. You can sleep in a while longer as I have to pick Ernest up first." Liam wanted her to rest a little more as he had worn her out over the last few days. "Oh yeah, have you called them?"

"Not yet. I'll call them now and ask Ernest to contact you after we've confirmed the details, okay?"

"Okay." Liam's eyes were full of smiles and he looked even gentler. "Let's end the call. How about you hang up first?"

"All right, I'll hang up now." Maria looked at him earnestly before hanging up the phone.

Liam sighed after seeing Maria's face disappear from his sight. He was a little disappointed, to be honest. Why did she hang up the phone so quickly? He wanted to see her a little while longer.

Meanwhile, Maria jumped up from the bed in glee, not caring about the aching pain in her body.

Her happiness was indescribable.

She wanted to shout it from the rooftops and tell the world about it.

Hence, she rushed outside.

On her way out, she happened to see Yvonne. She hugged her and kissed her on the face, saying, "Mommy, I love you."

"Maria, watch it." Yvonne was startled. "Why are you so happy? Have you forgotten I'm now a pregnant lady?"

"Mom, I'm Liam's girlfriend now. He asked me to be his girlfriend," Maria proclaimed excitedly.

Taken aback, Yvonne asked in a harsh tone, "So, you two slept before you made it official?"

Maria was stunned by her mother's words, but she quickly covered it up. "Ah, you won't understand it." "What's there that I don't understand?" Yvonne said, "You silly girl, your father was right to be worried about you. You slept with him before you two were officially together! How bold of you!"
