"Little Gary!" Grace Smith called out to him in a low voice.

Little Gary didn't say anything and went into the room with a bad temper.

The door slammed shut.

He was also angry.

Alice Smith whispered, "Sister, he is really mad this time."

Grace remained silent.

"You scared him with your words just now, and he thought you didn't want him anymore," Alice explained.

Grace said, "I'll talk to him later."

She also had a headache.

This child was very persistent about Heinz Jones.

"Sister, how are you and Heinz?" Alice asked hurriedly, "Is there any chance for you two to be together?"

Grace leaned on the sofa, with a tired face she said, "I don't know."

Alice looked at her and suddenly widened her eyes. She came over and grabbed the collar of her clothes. "Wow, look at you."

Grace blushed and nodded. "Okay, I'll go and check on Little Gary now."

"Sister, I didn't know you two have developed your relationship to this extent already!" Alice stood up. "I didn't expect him to be so rough in bed."

Grace's face turned even redder. When she thought of what he had done to her earlier, she could still feel her legs go limp.

Alice smiled mischievously and said, "Go and see Little Gary and tell him that you and Heinz are getting closer. I'm sure he will be very happy."

"Alright," Grace said.

Grace turned around and went to her son's room. After knocking on the door, she didn't get her son's permission, yet she still opened the door and went in.

Gary sat at his bedside angrily and did not speak. He was very quiet.

Grace looked at her stubborn son. She sighed, lifted the corner of her mouth, and looked at him. "Mommy never wanted to abandon you. What I meant was that, I want to give you a chance to get to know him," Grace said softly.

Gary pricked up his ears and listened, but he did not speak.

"But I don't know if it'll be a perfect ending. Wishes are often beautiful, but it requires fate to see if we can stay together," Grace sincerely said, "I don't want to lie to you. I just want to tell you the truth. Whether you want to be together with daddy or not, it's not up to just your wishes."

Gary looked up at her, but he still did not speak. There was a hint of understanding in his big eyes.

Grace knew that he had taken her words in.

"No matter how hard I work now, I still wouldn't know what the result will be," Grace said, ''You have to be patient and give me some time, is that okay?"

"You are sincere enough to say that," Gary said, "Well, I promise you that I won't run around in the future."

Grace looked at him and felt sad. She thought, "It's my responsibility. I'm glad that you are able to be so frank."

Grace knew that she could not easily erase the child's wishes.

Gary did not say anything anymore.

Grace stretched out her hand and rubbed his head.

She said, "Little Gary, I'm sorry."

The little one was stunned and shook his head. He was embarrassed now.

Grace reached out and hugged him.

Gary took a breath and said awkwardly, "Mommy, I'm hungry."

Grace also laughed and said, "Well, I'll make you something to eat."

The mother and son were happy again and came out hand in hand.

Alice saw them and said, "I'm going to the store to buy some food."
