True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1516

At that very moment, Leah's heart was filled with an indescribable sense of nervousness.

Her itching heart that had been looking forward to his texts finally settled and calmed down.

He probably wanted to send her a message but was unsure of what to say.

She just happened to catch him in the act. She expected his message, but after a while, her phone did not ring with a notification.

Fifteen minutes had passed. Leah did not take her eyes off the dialogue box. It repeatedly popped out before finally coming to a halt.

She threw her phone on her bed and slumped onto the bed, puffed up, "Ernest, you're such a jerk. Would it kill you to send a message?"

Leah was infuriated.

Ernest was such a sc*mbag. He hooked her up, but then he disappeared without a trace.

Leah stared at his chatbox, feeling annoyed.

She hesitated, planning something that would get a reaction out of Ernest.

However, she couldn't think of anything, so she felt anxious.

Ernest had initially wanted to send Leah a message, but he didn't know what he should say, so he put his phone down.

After hesitating for a long time, he decided against sending Leah a message and proceeded to eavesdrop on Maria's call after placing his phone aside.

He expected Maria to be calling Leah, but he overheard Liam's voice.

Huh.

He thought that Maria was calling Leah. It turned out it was actually Liam.

That girl was the ultimate definition of one prioritising love over friendship. Ernest chuckled and shook his head, returning to his room to take a shower.

After he emerged from the shower and changed into a fresh set of clothes, he noticed a notification on his phone. It was a message from Leah.

He had his eyes narrowed, the corners of his lips curled up into a smile.

He tapped on the message. Her words had Ernest's eyes widened in shock, the tips of his ears instantly reddening.

Leah's face flashed across his mind. She was smart, cunning, and unique.

Leah was different from other girls.

When he read the message, Ernest once again deeply felt that Leah was indeed an odd girl.

She asked a question.

"Ernest, I have a question for you. You must answer it. It's important for my writing."

"You see, the thing is when you have a wet dream with a bunch of girls, do you have to wash your boxers in the morning when you wake up?"

"Of course, I think it's a totally normal biological phenomenon. Don't be shy and answer my question honestly to satisfy my curiosity, alright?"

He looked at the message. It was sent fifteen minutes ago. It must have happened after he put his phone down earlier.

He pondered for a moment before replying with one word, "Yes."

Leah received a response. She saw the word "Yes" and was instantly furious.

She continued to type and delete her messages repeatedly.

At that moment, Ernest sent another message.

"There's only one girl, not a bunch of them."

Leah took a look at the message and replied, "Then you're indeed innocent. There's only one girl in your dreams. Is the girl beautiful?

Ernest gripped his phone, his fingers hovering over the screen as he softly typed a sentence, "She's similar to you."

Leah pouted. Ha, he actually had a woman he liked and would even dream about her.

Feeling a little depressed, she put her phone aside.

Ernest had been anticipating her message for quite a while, but the message never came. He was a little anxious. Would she have misunderstood?

Feeling unsettled, Ernest responded by sending another message, "Leah, have you been well recently?"

Leah received the message and replied in a dull tone, "No, I'm not doing well."

"What's wrong?"

Ernest sent the text.

Leah replied, "Ha-ha, it's just about my book. I'm so stressed to the point that I'm losing hair. Sometimes, I lack inspiration and have writer's block. It's nothing. What about you? Have you been well? Have you fallen in love? Did you confess to the girl you like?"

Seeing that message, Ernest cracked into a helpless smile.
