True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1537

"Don't." Gary hurriedly apologized. "Sorry, it's all my fault. I promise I won't do anything bad or go overboard, okay?"

He even raised his hands high up to surrender.

Celeste frowned and stared at him carefully. "You won't keep to your word at all. You promised."

Gary suddenly felt somewhat irritated. He started to explain, "Celeste, it is not that I am not keeping my promise. I never expected this to happen either. My body won't listen to me, what can I do about that? I just can't help it. I'm always trying to win you over. I guess my body misses you."

After that, he awkwardly pointed at himself with an extremely awkward expression.

Celeste gasped. "Gary, you are going too far."

However, Gary looked very embarrassed.

Celeste knew that he had no intention of restraining himself, and she really couldn't hold back anymore. She gritted her teeth and said, "Gary, you are really shameless."

Gary was not angry. He merely nodded his head and agreed, "That's right. I am a little shameless. I, too, think that I am going too far."

His honest confession made Celeste feel embarrassed, as if she was the one to be blamed.

She glared at Gary, but she could not utter a single word.

"Well, I am going to smoke. I haven't smoked for a few days. I want to smoke again." He stood up and took a deep breath. "About that, you should continue studying first. I won't disturb you anymore. I'm going out to buy a pack of cigarettes."

When Celeste heard that he was going to smoke again, she got even more anxious. He was such a healthy man. If his body got ill because of his obsession to smoke, she would feel really sorry for Uncle Jones and Aunt Grace.

Celeste anxiously and hurriedly shouted in an embarrassed and low voice, "No, you can't smoke."

Gary was taken aback. He looked at Celeste and said, "If you don't let me smoke, I will really be in a terrible state right now. If I don't do anything, I won't be able to control myself."

Celeste pressed her lips together and looked at Gary. She said in a deep voice, "Gary, you are doing this on purpose, aren't you?"

Gary smiled and shook his head. "I am not. I really couldn't control myself when I kissed you. Why don't you let me kiss you again. Perhaps I won't go back to thinking about smoking again after I kiss you."

He looked at Celeste's face and his gaze slowly proceeded downwards. She had changed into a low-collared sweater. Her collarbone was visible. It was white and exquisite, and her neck was thin and elegant. Her body looked great from every angle. It was unbelievably beautiful.

Celeste frowned and said, "Fine, go and buy your cigarettes. I won't bother you anymore. That's your choice."

It seemed like she was a little angry.

Gary noticed her cold expression and immediately said, "Forget it, I won't smoke, okay? Don't be angry. I know you care about me. I won't smoke or kiss you. I'll go out to feel the cold breeze. Calm yourself down and study."

He took a deep breath. Perhaps he really needed to feel the breeze to sober up.

He walked out. When Celeste looked at his back, it seemed like he was a little lonely.

Celeste was behind him. She wanted to say something. In the end, she did not say anything even though she had opened her mouth.

After he left.

Celeste could not concentrate on studying at all. Her heart was in a mess.

She was a little worried that he might catch a cold, for he was wearing such thin clothes. As such, she could not help herself and went downstairs to find him.

She went to open the door. As the cold wind blew her, she shivered.

It was already dark outside. When she looked from afar, the neighborhood was very quiet. There weren't a lot of people.

His familiar figure was not there either.

Celeste started to get a little anxious.

She grabbed her phone and closed the door. She was ready to look for him. Fortunately, the car stopped at the door. He did not drive out, which meant that he could not be too far away.

After she came out of the villa, she walked for dozens of meters, but she could not see anyone. D*mn, where did he go?

She could only walk along the streets. Suddenly, she seemed to have seen a figure in front of her. It looked like Gary.

The man was tall, and his back looked familiar.

He was walking very slowly with one hand in his pocket. He looked very lonely.

He was not smoking.

She stopped and watched him from a distance. She saw him walking towards a tree and leaning against it.

Celeste walked over silently.

He seemed to be chewing gum. Suddenly, his phone rang. He answered the call.

He spoke in a foreign language, "Your method, chewing gum, doesn't work at all. I still want to smoke."

He grumbled as he chewed.

When Celeste heard that, she was stunned.

Was he chewing gum to relieve his urge to smoke?

"No, I promised my honey. I can't smoke. She hates it when I smoke. If I smoke again, I will really lose her."

She did not know what the person on the other end of the line said.
