True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1628

Celeste spoke on the phone, "Cindy called me just now. She asked if you liked Liam. I was on my guard and didn't tell her. I even denied it, but she insisted that you like Liam. I don't know what she wants with that information, and I am a little worried."

Maria was surprised. "What? She actually called you? Did she recognize me?"

"She saw you?" Celeste was also surprised. "Aren't you in England? Did she go to England?"

"No, I'm back," Maria told her.

"What!" Celeste screamed, "You are back here?"

"That's right." Maria nodded.

At this moment, Liam looked at Maria and suddenly moved. Maria immediately took a deep breath.

Celeste was flustered. She thought she had misheard it and asked, "What's wrong?"

Maria immediately shot Liam a glare. He looked at her innocently. His eyes were bright, as if he didn't mean it.

Maria was afraid that she would not be able to control herself and would be exposed. Hence, she told Celeste, "Don't tell anyone about this first. I will call you later, okay? I am busy now."

"What are you busy with?" Celeste was very surprised and puzzled. "Why did you suddenly come back from England? It's so far. Did you come back with Liam?"

At this moment, Liam took over the phone and told Celeste, "Celeste, Maria will call you back in half an hour."

With that, he hung up the phone.

Celeste was dumbfounded. When she heard Liam's voice, combined with Maria's reaction a while ago, she realized something and her face turned red.

At this moment, Gary entered their room and saw Celeste holding her phone. Her face was very red, as if she was greatly embarrassed and shy.

He immediately stepped forward and asked, "Celeste, what's wrong?"

Celeste looked up and met Gary's eyes. She hurriedly explained, "I just received a call from Cindy. She asked me about Maria. After that, I called Maria. Guess where she is right now?"

Gary was startled, as she looked at Celeste, smiled and said, "She is back, isn't she? And she is with Liam."

Celeste's eyes immediately widened. "You actually managed to guess?"

Gary sneered. "It wasn't a guess. Judging by your embarrassed looks, they must be doing some couple's business."

That was the only reason why Celeste's face would turn so red.

Celeste widened her eyes in shock once more. She looked at Gary and felt that he was simply a god. He could successfully guess everything.

"You guessed that too?"

"Haha, they are just being together, aren't they?" Gary hugged Celeste and said, "They are in a fiery phase in their love life. We don't even need to think what they would do. Hence, you shouldn't always question me in the future. See? Liam and Maria are doing the same thing. Every couple does this."

Celeste looked at him in surprise, then she stuck out her tongue.

Gary kissed her and said, "Did Cindy call you and ask about Maria and Liam?"

"Yes." Celeste got serious. "That's what worries me. I don't think it's that simple."

"Where there is wind, there will be waves." Gary nodded.

"Maria told me that she must have guessed it.

From her tone, it seems like they have met, or that Cindy knows about Liam and Maria being in a relationship," Celeste speculated. "Maria will only call me back in half an hour."

"They must have been busy when you called them." Gary smiled sheepishly. "You called them at the wrong time."

"I did not expect that either." Celeste laughed embarrassedly.

Gary kissed her again. "Do you think we should do it first before we wait for the call, or wait until they call before doing it?"

"Wait for the call first," Celeste said immediately.

She did not have such great psychological qualities as to answer the call in the middle of that.

Gary knew that she would say that, thus he did not force her. Now that they had reconciled with each other, he would respect Celeste.

After Liam hung up the phone, he looked at Maria.
