True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1672

Grace sat on the sofa for a while after she hung up. Then, Heinz walked in.

Heinz saw her spacing out and asked, "Honey, what's wrong? What's on your mind?"

Grace was jolted back to her senses, and she met Heinz's gaze. A short pause later, she explained, "I was thinking about Celeste's background.”

"What's wrong with that?" Heinz sat down next to Grace and asked, "Didn't we agree not to bring it up again?"

"Gary and Celeste know, and Sinclair himself knows as well. It seems that we won't be able to hide Celeste's identity any longer. Sinclair is mired in scandals, and he wants to leak Celeste's connection to our family to the press so that he can redeem himself once again. What do we do?" Grace asked.

Heinz replied, "Let's just see what happens. The most important thing now is that we have to take care of Celeste's feelings. Sinclair will always be Celeste's father, but how she deals with it is what matters more." "I comforted Celeste earlier. Let's see if Sinclair has the balls to try and use our family as a stepping stone."

Heinz nodded and sighed, "Yeah, but Sinclair is too much of a playboy. My investigations have shown that he's slept with no less than a hundred women. It's embarrassing for Celeste to have such a playboy for a father."

"More than a hundred women?" Grace was shocked and gasped, "Didn't Suanne find out? She seems to be a very capable woman, so how is it possible that she didn't find out?"

"Isn't Hermione a strong woman too? She still ended up being cheated on," Heinz said.

Grace was rendered speechless for a moment.

"Some things are just not as simple as they seem," Heinz explained, "Suanne looks powerful, but she is just a woman after all. She's always been behind the scenes, and she never had much of an opportunity to participate in her husband's affairs. Meanwhile, Sinclair has a lot of chances to meet artists, college girls and young budding talents, who all throw themselves at him once they have a chance to."

She nodded and said, "Yes, some people are just willing to sleep with him. It's difficult to put the blame on one single party." "He was involved with plenty of women 20 years ago, and Cindy, Monica and Celeste's mother all fell for his charms. He's not an easy man to deal with."

"He's a playboy," Grace said with a sense of disgust, "Forget it, let's not talk about him. I feel sick just thinking about him."

"You're not the only one," Heinz nodded, "Oh right, Jensen and Alice will come over later while their kids are at school. We're going to have lunch together."

"Did Jensen tell you, or did Alice tell you?" Grace asked.

"Alice called me," Heinz said.

Grace frowned and asked, "Why didn't Alice call me instead?"

"Are you jealous?" Heinz asked in a threatening tone.

"What for? I'm not jealous, just curious. I thought you and Alice never ever saw eye to eye, and yet you're so chummy now?" Grace thought that Alice had grown more respectful of Heinz over the years, and she frequently discussed the business affairs of the Sunny Group with him.

Furthermore, Heinz taught Alice all he knew.

Alice also put in a lot of effort, and the Sunny Group thrived under her management.

Although the company was much smaller than the Jones Estate or the Lowe Group, it was slowly getting bigger.

Jensen had also been promoted and was currently the Inspector- General of the Northern City's police force. He was exemplary at his work.

They had a small family with a son and a daughter, and they lived very happily.

Alice's mother- in- law also became much less annoying over the years. Her attitude had improved once she got grandchildren.

"Your sister is technically my sister as well. Jensen is like a brother to me, and his wife will be treated like my own sister. Of course I'll treat Alice better."

Heinz said those words so confidently that Grace had no reason to refute him.

Grace looked at him and smiled, saying, "Nice. You've been a very good brother-in-law."

"My dear, you still sound a little bit jealous," Heinz reached out to Grace and laid his head on her shoulders intimately.
