"Why do you sound as if you've had a taste of me before?" Cindy snickered, "I'm really talented in bed, do you know that? Every man who's slept with me has come back for more."

Heinz looked at her in disbelief. He could not believe how shameless this woman was to brag about something obscene like that.

Though, he was never one to care about other people's feelings, even more so towards someone like Cindy.

"That was in the past. I'm afraid that you are no longer as talented as you were in the old days. Let's just watch and see if you have the freedom and energy to resort to your old ways in the future," Heinz smiled and just left.

"Don't go!" Cindy panicked as soon as she realized that Heinz was about to leave. She rarely got the chance to chat with him alone, so she wanted to spend more time with him.

Heinz just ignored her desperate calls for him.

"Give me three more minutes," Cindy shouted anxiously, "Don't you want to hear what I have to say to you?"

"I think you'd better save that time to reflect on your conscience," After saying that, Heinz continued to walk away.

Cindy looked at his fleeting figure and mumbled, "Heinz, please just spend three more minutes with me. Can't you just give me a mere three minutes?"

She was met with silence.

Meanwhile, Gary and Alex waited for Heinz outside.

Gary frowned at Heinz when he saw Heinz walking out the door, "Why were you dawdling back there? What did you talk about with that skank?"

Heinz looked at his son's pale face and rolled his eyes, "What are you accusing me for? You're the one who offered to give her your blood, not me."

"That's because your blood type isn't compatible with hers. If it had been, I'm sure you would've donated your blood instead," Gary retorted.

"I would never," Heinz answered nonchalantly, "You only did it for Celeste's sake. I'm not the one that needs to thank her for anything."

Gary snorted, "It doesn't matter what you say now that it's over. You could be lying for all I know."

Heinz ignored his son's teasing and replied with a faint smile, "Well, it's time to head back home. That woman's life is intact - for now."

Gary noticed that Cindy had recovered pretty well since she still had the energy to bicker with them.

Heinz turned towards Alex and ordered, "Get someone to keep a closer eye on Cindy. Don't give her a chance to play any tricks. Once Monica submits the evidence, Cindy will be carted away accordingly."

"Understood, President Jones. I've already made all the necessary arrangements. Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on Cindy. She won't escape under my watch," Alex promised hurriedly.

"It won't take more than three days," Gary speculated, "I've already sent all the information to the Northern City's police department before Monica returned. I think there will be news soon."

Heinz gazed at his son with pride, "It seems that you have your priorities set straight. Good job."

"Of course. I always plan before I tread," Gary smiled and raised his chin smugly.

Heinz chuckled and didn't bother to argue with his son.

The father and son duo then walked out with Alex.

As per Heinz's orders, Alex arranged for someone to keep a close eye on Cindy.

On the way home, Gary reminded Heinz, "After we get home, don't mention anything about what I did to anyone, understood?"

"Why should I agree to that?" Heinz raised his eyebrows and looked at his son, smirking, "Shouldn't you sound more courteous when asking me for a favor?"

Gary frowned, "This is for the sake of mom's health. She's pregnant. Do you want her to suffer from shock and injure herself from worrying about me?"

"Of course not," Heinz looked at his son with a devious smirk. Then, he said with a smile, "Who said anything about telling your mother? I can just tell Celeste all about it, can't I? You can't stop me."

Gary was momentarily stunned and gaped, "You're being too cruel. I can't have Celeste worrying about me after what happened. She just lost a baby as well."

"It's already been a few months. I think her body should have recovered from it. I'll have to tell Celeste about what happened today, but I'll make an exception if you address me as your dad. If not, forget it," Heinz raised his eyebrows.

Gary's frown deepened as he groaned, "You are taking advantage of the situation."

"Well, sort of. I don't think it's an unreasonable bribe. After all, there are not many opportunities like this. I finally have the upper hand for once. What do you think, my son?"
