True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 176

"Yes, I'm looking for you." Jensen Charm stood up with a polite smile on his face, but he looked a little unnatural.

Grace Smith didn't want to see him because she felt embarrassed. After all, Jensen had misunderstood that they had an indecent relationship prior to this.

However, when Little Gary's paternity test was done, it turned out that Jensen was not the father. She was also shocked at that moment and found it unbelievable.

Anyway, she no longer felt awkward now that it was proven that the child's father was not Jensen.

"Officer Charm." Grace nodded. "Why were you looking for me?"

"It is about Lorenzo Chen's kidnapping case." Jensen said, "I have discussed this with Madam Lowe, and she is also very cooperative with our work."

Grace subconsciously looked at Hermione Lowe.

Hermione pursed her lips and said apologetically, "Grace, this is all my negligence. I didn't keep an eye on Lorenzo and let him hurt you."

Grace shook her head. Hermione was the one who had been hurt the most, but instead she was comforting her. Grace was not really concerned about this matter anyway.

"Editor Lowe and Officer Charm, let's deal with this

professionally."

Hermione nodded and said, "Of course, I agree with you."

Jensen also nodded and claimed, "Well, Editor Lowe, I still need Grace to give me some details. Are we doing it here or are we going directly to the police station?"

Hermione thought for a moment and said, "Officer Charm, it'd be better to stay here. People might gossip if they see Grace going to the police station with you. It's better for both sides if we stay in the reception room."

"That's very thoughtful of you, Editor Lowe." Jensen nodded and said, "Well, I'll call my people here and we'll ask all the necessary questions here."

"Sure." Hermione nodded and said, "Grace, please bring Officer Charm to the reception room next door."

"Certainly!" Grace looked at Jensen and said, "Officer Charm, please come with me."

"Okay."

The two of them entered the reception room next door one after another. Jensen called his subordinate and said, "Bring me the documents and come to the reception room next to Editor Lowe's office. I'll be here."

After hanging up the phone, he looked at Grace and said, "Please wait for five minutes. My subordinate is in the car outside. He will come in a bit."

"No problem. I can wait." Grace said, "Officer Charm, please take a seat."

"Thank you." Jensen sat down and looked at Grace with awkwardness in his eyes. He said, "Grace, I want to tell you something irrelevant to the case before we start."

Grace had probably guessed what Jensen was going to say, so she listened to him quietly.

"Grace, you and Heinz are already together now." He pondered for a while and said, "We don't have to be so awkward when we see each other in the future." "That's true. Officer Charm, we shouldn't be awkward." Grace also felt that it was necessary to make things clear. "I was just about to tell you that it was all a misunderstanding."

"Misunderstanding?" Jensen frowned doubtfully.

"Nothing has happened between us last time." Grace said, "I have solid evidence that the woman who had an unexpected relationship with you is someone else. It seems that you really want to be responsible for that woman since you are looking for her. You're a good person."

"So, that person is really not you?” Jensen still couldn't believe it.

"I swear with my life," Grace said, "It's really not me. It's someone else."

Looking at Grace's clear eyes, he thought for a while and felt that Grace didn't seem to be a liar.

Based on his many years of experience in handling cases, he felt that Grace was being honest.

"Well, I believe you." Jensen smiled and said, "God knows how much I wish that person is not you. Heinz and I have been good brothers for many years. If our brotherhood is broken up because of a woman, it will really be a pity. I won't forgive myself."

Grace pursed her lips. She felt a sharp pain in her heart at the thought of Heinz Jones.

"Grace, you're not lying to me, right?"

"No." Grace said seriously, "I have no reason to lie to you."
