True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1805

"Quit your wild imagination. There's no such thing." Leah tried her best to deny it.

She was so mortified.

It had not even been half a year since she was deflowered. She couldn't bring herself to be so thick-skinned.

Besides, she did not want the things that happened in her bed to be known by others. She did not have the taste for flaunting them.

"Humph, wild imagination? I think it's the truth." Victoria gave a snort.

Leah replied, "No, it's truly your imagination. You said you've known why I stopped updating? Why is that?"

Had the editor figured it out?

Leah was rather curious.

"The reason is that you've had a boyfriend, and you wanted to spend intimate time with him every day. You were afraid that writing the web novel will hinder you from spending time with him, therefore you ended the novel hastily. Only in this way could you immerse yourself in bed with him every day."

"Why do these words sound so obscene when coming out of your mouth?" Leah retorted. "That's not the reason."

"All right, stop covering it up." Victoria interrupted Leah's words. "You patently spend hours just fiddling around when you should have been working hard. Even if you have a boyfriend, and even if you hunger for intimacy with him, you shouldn't neglect your career. If you don't have a career, you'll find out later that you don't even have the money to afford contraception, which will in turn result in your pregnancy. Then will you give birth to the child? You can't afford to raise it if you give birth to it without your career, and it'll be a sin if you abort it. That's even crueler. Tell me, how can you do that?"

"Ah!" Leah groaned again.

Her voice sounded amatory again.

She warned Ernest at once.

However, he ignored that, continuing to make her moan.

Leah's voice had changed.

"I've got to go. That's all."

"Don't hang up." Victoria bawled, "Reaper, I don't care. As long as this sequel's author hasn't continued, you have to fill in for him in a jiffy."

Leah tried to stifle her pleasure before saying, "I really have to go. I'll get back to you tomorrow. I'm hanging up."

With that, Leah hung up and turned off her phone, in case Victoria would call again.

After turning off the phone, Leah instantly made a complaint to Ernest by growling, "You did it on purpose to make me moan like that just now. My editor must have thought I'm a sl*tty girl. I'm so screwed. My image is ruined."

Unexpectedly, Ernest felt no contrition for what he did. On the contrary, he admitted blithely. "Yes, I intentionally did it so that your editor would realize that she shouldn't call and harass the authors in the middle of the night. Although the authors are working for her, all of you have the rights to retain your private space."

"Victoria and I have gone past the editor-author relationship." Leah explained, "We are friends now, and we respect each other very much."

"Then, she shouldn't have harassed you. The one who ought to feel ashamed isn't you, hence you don't have to be so shy," Ernest said with a smile.

"Oh my God, what kind of logic is this? She has heard us having sex, yet you said she should be embarrassed instead of us. Don't you think that's too shameless of us?" For the first time, Leah found that Ernest was pretty resilient. He didn't

feel awkward at all.

To her surprise, Ernest just laughed. "I don't feel shameful at all. Also, she couldn't see our faces. It was not a live broadcast. What's there to be scared of? "

Leah was taken aback by his words. Staring blankly at the man on her body and meeting his perfectly handsome face, she really felt that he had a mischievous sense of humor. She sighed bitterly and said, "She didn't see you, but she knows it's me, I'm so abashed."

"So what if she knows? She didn't see you." Ernest smiled and comforted her. "You don't have to take it to heart. This is a common thing between every couple. It's your editor's fault for not being able to read the room. Knowing what you were at it, yet she still pointed it out bluntly."

Leah muttered, "It's all your fault. If you didn't do that on purpose and make it known to her, she wouldn't have asked so much."

"Anyone with a normal mindset would quickly make an excuse to hang up when they find out what's happening on the other side of the line, but your editor didn't do so. She is such a weirdo." Ernest shrugged.

Leah was aware that what he said was reasonable, but she couldn't help urging him at the thought of someone else having heard her moaning in bed. "Hurry up and finish up, don't dawdle."

Ernest replied with a smile, "Don't you know that such words may mar my enjoyment. In that case, we may need to start all over again. This problem is not caused by me but by that phone call entirely."

Once again, Leah was nonplussed. She looked at Ernest foolishly.

Wouldn't it be a waste of time to her if they needed to start all over again? Then, she wouldn't have time to do anything else that day.

At the moment, she felt like her whole body was falling apart, and she had no strength at all.

As expected, Ernest was full of vigor and vitality in bed.
