True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1838

She had never been consoled by him like that before, or been treated with so much tenderness by him.

On top of that, all of those were only for her.

How could Marry not get emotional and cry upon thinking back on her hardships over these years? Only she knew how hard it was.

Her tears kept falling and Simon couldn't wipe them all away no matter how hard he tried.

Her hot tears kept rolling down her cheeks, and her cry was getting fiercer.

The tears on her fair cheeks made her look even more delicate. Simon's heart ached upon seeing that and as he continued to wipe her tears away.

His heart was also trembling. He frowned, and his heart ached for her.

He hurriedly helped Marry wipe away her tears, with his hand and his lips, over and over again.

He could only keep apologizing to make her stop crying.

It was somehow ridiculous, but he had never coaxed someone even at his age.

Let alone Marry.

He was always cold to Marry.

Although it was Marry's schemes that got them together, he still took the responsibility to marry her. He had always treated her like a guest all those years, and they had always very distant as a couple. They never really had a huge fight, or actually understood what each other really thought about things.

Marry was always watching him too closely and she was also paranoid if he would do something behind her. Back then, Simon was also still obsessed with Grace, and he felt that he really liked her, which made him even more distant from Marry.

Of course, He had never tried to make Marry happy either.

Back then, he was always very absent even when he was with her, but right then, he was actually being so patient with Marry and he was willingly coaxing her. Even Simon himself was surprised by what was going on.

He used to think that he could always treat her indifferently if Marry could could just be sensible and not cause any problems with their almost nonexistent marriage then.

However, that wasn't the case.

Marry couldn't keep herself out of trouble.

Neither could he live a plain and peaceful life.

Thus, their marriage back then was a failure, and their lives weren't great or peaceful at all either.

As they were feeling imbalanced for a lot of things in their marriage, they ended up causing a lot of troubles, and both of them had paid a hefty price for all of them.

As they had gone through the storm then, they wanted to settle down again.

However, there wasn't much time ahead. They had already wasted so many years, and life was too short for it to be taken for granted.

Simon didn't want to waste any more time, and he knew that he couldn't afford to waste any more time.

He wanted to build a simple life together with Marry. He wanted to raise a child with her and live happily together as a family without bothering themselves with someone else's business.

He was only obsessed with someone else because he was too stubborn and had refused to face the reality back then.

Marry was still crying despite Simon planting kisses one after another on her cheeks.

He kept kissing her for as long as she was crying.

At the end, when Marry finally stopped crying, she stared at him with her slightly swollen eyes and embarrassed face. They continued to look at each other.

After a long, long time.

She took a deep breath and said, "I'm sorry, I can't stop crying."

"It's all right. I am to blame for this." Simon shook his head as his eyes got teary too.
