True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1903

As soon as Sebastian went upstairs, he saw Gary coming down from the stairs.

The two brothers looked at each other. He smiled and asked, "Gary, I have something to ask you." "Father has annoyed you again with his overflowing love for his daughter, right?" Gary got right to the point.

Sebastian nodded. "That's right."

"He's still asking about Sylvia, right?" Gary asked with a smile.

Sebastian nodded. "Yes, that's right."

Gary smiled and said, "It's hard for him. He has been walking back and forth at home and has been waiting for you to come home."

Sebastian was stunned for a moment before replying, "I'm so sorry. I seem to have disappointed him."

"It's all right. It'll be fine once you get used to it." Gary comforted him.

The corners of Sebastian's lips twitched, but he didn't say anything else.

"By the way, I brought some reading materials to Sylvia today," Gary said.

"I know. I saw you and Celeste before Sylvia came running over to show off," Sebastian said.

"Is that so?" Gary was a little surprised.

"When Sylvia got the materials, she showed it off to me. She even raised her suspicions and questioned me if the both of us were scheming against her together," Sebastian said.

"Oh?" Gary was stunned for a second. "Is that girl so sharp now?"

Sebastian nodded and continued, "She's not only sharp, but also very cunning. She's also very suspicious."

"Just like Heinz," Gary replied.

Sebastian smiled. "You seem to be like that too. You are always suspicious of people."

"Sebastian, I think you are referring to yourself," Gary said with a smile.

Sebastian couldn't help but to laugh. "Since we're pretty much the same, there's no need to make fun of each other, is there?"

"You started it," Gary said.

"I'm sorry," Sebastian quickly apologized.

Gary waved his hand and didn't seem to care. "That girl actually showed off to you. She probably wants you to continue to persuade you to go easy on her."

"That's right. Looks like you know Sylvia very well." Sebastian smiled and said, "She doesn't seem confident that she can get the first place. She came and look for me again and asked me to go easy on her."

Gary smiled and looked at his younger brother. "Sebastian, with my understanding of you, you probably didn't agree, right?"

Sebastian couldn't help but to smile. "Yes, I didn't agree."

"Well, Sylvia must be worrying," Gary said.

Sebastian nodded. "That's right. She almost wanted to argue with me."

"Pfft!" Gary burst into laughter. "This girl is too greedy, but it's understandable. She wants to win badly."

Sebastian smiled. "She really should be be anxious about it. Otherwise, she wouldn't know how to treasure the first place if she got it too easily."

"Of course. You've done the right thing." Gary exchanged an understanding look with Sebastian and said, "After all, we're all here working together for her. She surely should work hard for the next few days."

Sebastian opened the door and said, "Gary, are you coming in to have a chat?"

"No need. You can rest now. I'll go back to my room," Gary said.

"Good night," said Sebastian, smiling. He turned around and entered the room.

Gary was about to go upstairs as well, but he was stopped by Heinz.

"Gary," Heinz said.

Gary turned around to look at his father. His gaze shifted as he asked, "No way? Have you been eavesdropping on us?"

Heinz looked at his son with a sharp gaze and said, "What were you talking about with Sebastian? He said that you two are working together, so what are you two working together on?"

Gary's eyes flashed as he said, "Oh, so you did hear that."

"Tell me quickly," Heinz said, "I'm anxious to know."
