True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1919

She didn't know that her posture made her look really beautiful.

The bathrobe she was wearing slid open a little, which inadvertently revealed her smooth skin.

It was believed that any man would get a nosebleed after seeing it.

Ernest's eyes darkened as he looked at her.

He didn't know if Leah had done it on purpose but he was completely entranced by her.

He put away the food and sat closer to her. He looked down at her with lustful eyes.

Leah looked at him with bright eyes. "You have to answer me. I asked you that question before, but you didn't have the nerve to answer me. Now can you answer it?"

Ernest pursed his lips and said in a hoarse voice, "Don't you know that it's dangerous to ask a man this kind of question?"

"How dangerous can it be?" Leah replied. "Will it shock me or something?"

The corners of Ernest's mouth twitched. "That's exactly what I was thinking."

Leah blushed and said, "In the past, we hadn't been together. I dared to ask you because I was sure that you are a gentleman and won't mess around. Now that we're together, I honestly don't think I'll mind. Just answer my question."

"Answer me this first. Did you ask me that question on purpose last time?" Ernest's eyes locked onto Leah's.

Leah dodged his gaze.

"Crap, I've been found out," she thought to herself.

She didn't want to admit it.

She fell in love with him at first sight and had wanted to claim him as her own ever since.

She had asked him that question on purpose, trying to be flirty.

But she couldn't admit it. It was too embarrassing.

"Don't look elsewhere. Look at my eyes." Ernest reminded.

Leah turned to look at him. She fixed her gaze on his and said, "So tell me, have you ever used your hand?"

Ernest felt helpless and unconsciously sighed. This girl was very persistent.

His handsome face turned slightly red and he said bluntly, "No, but the night after you asked me that question, I did for the first time."

Leah had never thought that that would be his answer. Ernest was amazing. He had managed to render her speechless with that answer.

Her mouth opened slightly and she looked surprised.

Ernest also stared at her. "When I was getting off, all I could think about was you and your voice."

Leah's face turned red and she felt herself get hot all of a sudden.

Seeing Leah's blushing face, Ernest continued calmly, "When I miss you in London, I do it as well."

Leah widened her eyes and looked at him. She was stunned speechless.

"So, tell me." Suddenly, Ernest approached Leah. He lowered his body closer to hers and leaned into her. His eyes fell on her lips and he exhaled a hot breath of air.

Leah felt very uncomfortable due to the heat. She subconsciously averted her eyes from his. "Tell you what?"

"Answer my question from before," Ernest said.

Leah felt that Ernest must have seen through all of her thoughts.

It was impossible for her to not answer him.

She lowered her head to avoid looking at Ernest's face. She stared at his chest instead.

He had changed his clothes and smelled clean and fresh.

Leah's heart quickened and for a long while, she was unable to respond.

"So?" Ernest approached her again, his lips close to hers. A little bit more and they would be kissing.

It took a long while before Leah came back to her senses. She blurted out in a low voice, "Alright, I had ill intentions towards you back then."

Hearing this, Ernest's lips curved up and he smiled happily. "You did?"

Leah thought, "Oh no, he must think that I'm a shameless woman."

She simply threw caution to the wind and said, "Yes, I did. I honestly thought that since you're a young master from the Jones family, you were way out of my league. So I planned to flirt and have my fun with you however I liked. Even though I couldn't have you, I still wanted to leave some sort of impression in your mind."

At least by asking such an outrageous question, he would think of her from time to time.

She didn't think that she would continue to hit on him after that and that it would actually work.

She admitted that she had put a lot of effort into pursuing Ernest.

It didn't matter in the end. She did not care that Ernest would think less of her. Since she had been the one to do it, she would bear the consequences.
