True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1973

Lowell continued to look at her fiercely for a while, then he hurriedly turned away.

After that, Janice was the only one left in the room.

The surrounding air was filled with uneasiness.

Janice shivered and suddenly came to her senses. Fear flashed in her eyes as she quickly packed up her things. That wouldn't do, she needed to leave.

She could not stay there. From the looks of it, Lowell was definitely going to do something to her.

At first, she wanted to make use of Lowell's sympathy to carry out Gary's part. She did not expect Lowell to have such a scary side to him as well.

That was far from what Janice expected.

She took out her phone and her hands were trembling as she went to the contact list. She looked for her friend's phone number.

She trembled as she searched for it, she then dialled the number right away. Her voice was even trembling a little.

"Come to the hospital to pick me up, hurry. I need to find a place to hide myself. Be fast, don't ask why. Just come and pick me up. If you don't, my child will be done. I really need to give birth to this child so that I can grab hold of Gary."

What the person on the other end of the phone said was unknown.

Janice shouted at the phone, "Ten minutes, I'll wait. Stop your nonsense and hurry up."

With that, she hung up the phone.

She packed everything, but after a while, she felt that it was inappropriate to do that, so she took some things out from her luggage and only took the valuable things.

She placed everything else back in the closet of the ward.

Janice carried her bag and put on her hat, ready to sneak away. However, as soon as the door opened, she was met with Lowell's fierce gaze.

Janice seemed to have seen his terrifyingly sharp eyes through his glasses, it was so sharp that it seemed to be able to pierce through her. He stared at her, his gaze never left.

Janice was stunned, and she replied subconsciously, "I want to go home."

Lowell took a step forward, blocking her way.

Janice also subconsciously stepped back.

"Lowell, you can't imprison me. You are trapping me, and it is against the law. This is the United States, it isn't the home of the Jones family."

"So what?" Lowell sneered. "If you provoke someone of the Jones family, I have to warn you, you should bear the consequences no matter where you are."

"You... you can't do this." Janice shook her head profusely.

"Hmph." Lowell laughed. "What can't I do?"

"I am going out." Janice could tell that Lowell had the intention of locking her up, and she instantly got anxious. "Let me go."

However, Lowell pushed her into the ward.

Janice was almost pushed down by him. She subconsciously covered her lower abdomen, panic could be seen in her eyes. "I want to call the police."

Lowell smiled faintly, he took out his cell phone and made a call. He said, "You two, come and look after Janice. Don't let her leave. Besides that, unload the sim card off her cell phone, and do not let her contact anyone."

After just one minute, two men arrived at the door of the ward. They were both foreigners, and they were very tall too.

The moment they appeared, they immediately snatched away Janice's phone, they did not care what kind of reaction she made.

Janice screamed in fear, "What are you doing? You can't do that. Who said you could do that to me? Lowell, what are you doing? Let me go! I won't let you get away with this."

Lowell only smiled, and it turned into a wicked smirk, as if Janice's words were nothing more than a joke.

No one paid any attention to Janice's shouting. The two foreigners were obviously bodyguards. It seemed like they were well paid by Lowell.

After they took away Janice's cell phone, they checked everything else that were in her bag. After they was sure that there weren't any other equipments that could be used for communications, they stood at the door and blocked it.

Obviously, they were imprisoning her inside the ward of the private hospital.

Janice never dreamt that Lowell would do that. She had never expected Lowell to go to such measures.

Janice and Lowell were the only ones left in the ward. Janice shouted at Lowell, not giving up. "How could you do this to me? What do you think you can get by doing this?"

"I can be at peace," Lowell said in a deep voice, "If I don't let you hurt them, I will be able to be at peace. I won't let you hurt them, even if I have to go to hell."
