True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 198

Lester had no choice but to tell Alice Smith what had happened. He also wanted to get the President and Miss Smith back together so that he didn't have to look at Heinz Jones' volatile facial expressions all day.

"This is unbelievable," Alice said indignantly after listening to him. "Simon, this shameless b*stard. How could he suspect my sister? What the hell?"

Lester was stunned by Alice's vigorous words.

"Is your President satisfied by only scolding Marry and Simon once?" Alice looked at Lester again with her eyes wide open.

"Isn't it enough?" Lester felt that it was already enough. To be honest, no one could handle President's vicious words.

His words had crushed them completely.

"How can that be enough?" Of course, Alice was not satisfied. "Is he a man?"

Lester opened his mouth but didn't say anything.

He really couldn't find the right words to say.

If that was not enough, should he have beaten them up?

"Your president has a sharp tongue," Alice said disdainfully, "End of appraisal."

Lester was speechless.

"What's the use of having only a sharp tongue?"

Alice said and looked at Lester again. "And you. Why did your President hire a gentle subordinate like you? What's the use of that?"

Lester almost passed out.

"Miss Smith-" Lester said.

"Don't call me that," Alice said, "I feel ashamed for you all. According to what you said, Heinz wants to be with my sister, so he went to get even with Marry and Simon but he only scolded them. Tell me, what's the use of that? Marry and Simon are still well and fine. So, your President and his subordinates are useless. I feel ashamed for you."

After Alice finished her words, she turned around and left.

There was no time to waste. She had to change her clothes quickly, otherwise, she would really be late for her performance.

Lester was so confused by her words that he was in a daze for a long time.

Confucius once said that women and sly men were equally difficult to handle.

Perhaps that was true.

He quickly went back and reported the situation to Heinz.

He didn't dare to tell everything to Heinz. He just said, "President, the girl is indeed Miss Smith's sister."

"What's her name?" Heinz asked.

Lester was stunned. He seemed to have forgotten her name. The girl admitted that she was Miss Smith's sister, but he actually forgot to ask for her name.

Heinz turned to look at Lester and said in a low voice, "Lester."

"President." Lester broke out in a cold sweat.

"Why are you always so slow-witted when it comes to matters about Grace and her sisters?" Heinz asked sarcastically.

The President's straightforwardness was really daunting.

"It's my fault." Lester said, "I was distracted towards the end. Her eloquence is even better than Miss Smith's. Her thinking is also different from ordinary people's. I—"

Heinz interrupted him, "Are you scared of her?"

Lester didn't know what to say.

"Then why do you still have the nerve to be my assistant?" Heinz's lips curled up and he said coldly, "Idiot."

Lester broke out in a cold sweat.

At this time, Alice changed her clothes and came out of the building. She picked up her phone very anxiously and said, 'TH be there right away. One minute. I'll be there soon."

As she said that, she hung up the phone.

She sped as fast as she could.

Heinz and Lester saw Alice rushing towards their direction in her costume. She was holding her phone in one hand and carrying a bag in another as she walked very quickly.

Heinz stepped forward and blocked her way.

At first glance, Alice knew that it was Heinz. He was indeed a good-looking man. It would be cool if he became her brother-in-law. However, if he treated her sister badly, she would rather not enjoy the glamour.

She believed half of what Lester had said just now, but she didn't know whether Lester had exaggerated the truth or not.
