True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2018

Gary and Celeste were both stunned. She turned around to look at the door, then she told Gary, "It should be the soup I ordered. I will go and get it for you right now."

Gary looked towards the direction of the door, he felt that the knock on the door came at a very wrong time.

He looked at Celeste eagerly.

Celeste got up and went to open the door. Sure enough, it was the soup which a waiter brought over. The waiter was treating them with a lot of respect.

After all, there were not many people who would book the entire yacht to go out to the sea, and they had spent a lot.

The waiter was very respectful. "Miss White, the soup for hangover that you ordered is here, and the meal is ready. Should we wait for you and Mr. Smith to come down, or should we send the food to your room?"

"Send it to the room." Celeste took the soup and told the waiter, "Please send it here in 20 minutes, thank you."

"Okay." The waiter left after giving her the soup.

With that, Celeste closed the door, and she brought the soup to Gary.

Gary was still lying on the bed with his palms on his head. He was rubbing his eyebrows and frowning hard. It seemed that he was suffering from a horrible headache.

Celeste looked at him and said, "Do you want to wash up first, or do you want to wash up after you finish drinking the soup?"

"I'll wash up first." Gary sniffed the smell on himself and found that he did not smell good. He realized that he was wearing his pajamas too, which Celeste must have helped him change when he was asleep.

It must have been difficult for a weak woman like Celeste to help him with so many things too.

Even he himself could not stand the smell on his own body, so he decided to quickly take a shower and have a change of clothes.

Celeste knew that Gary had always been a neat and tidy person. He most likely would not be able to stand the odd smell on himself. However, he was having a headache then, and Celeste was worried that taking a shower might only make the pain worse.

She spoke worriedly, "I think it will be better for you to wash up after drinking the soup. You will feel a lot better after drinking this. You puked a lot last night, so your stomach must be empty now. Besides, your blood has a high alcohol level now. If you go and take a bath now, you might have low blood sugar, and you might get alcohol poisoning."

Gary coughed awkwardly. "Did you help me clean up?"

Celeste nodded.

"Thank you." Gary was a little embarrassed. At the same time, he felt especially comforted. That was the first time Celeste saw him in such a bad state.

He made her do so many things for him. It must have been difficult for her.

He was so heavy and so tall. How could a small woman like her move him? He felt ever so sorry for Celeste.

At that very moment, she must be feeling upset, conflicted, and uncomfortable. However, she still cared about him so much.

Gary was touched by her. He was moved, but also felt upset. Those mixed feelings with guilt intertwined in him, making his heart feel exceptionally painful.

Celeste did not care what he thought and she just brought the soup to him in order to feed him.

At first, Gary was determined to not consume anything before he washed himself up, but when he saw Celeste bringing it over to him and started feeding him, he unconsciously opened his mouth.

Celeste fed him the whole bowl of soup, but his splitting headache still hadn't gone away.

That hangover was not a normal one. It felt so uncomfortable.

Gary had an urge to give up drinking for the rest of his life.

It would be best if he could have nothing to do with alcohol ever.

Gary looked at Celeste with a complicated expression. She looked back at him too, but neither of them spoke.

Celeste fed Gary one spoonful at a time. He did not say anything and just gulped what he was given.

The tacit understanding between the two of them were very strong. After a short while, the soup was almost finished.

He drank two bowls one after another. Gary felt somewhat bloated, and his stomach had a burning sensation. It was slightly painful.

It looked like he had really drank too much that time, as his stomach felt greatly uncomfortable.

"Celeste, I have had enough." Gary shook his head. He did not want anymore soup.

Celeste was stunned. It was good enough for him to actually finish two bowls of it, so she did not insist on a third bowl.

"The food will be delivered later," Celeste said.

"I will go wash up and have a change of clothes first." Gary really could not take it anymore. He already thought that it was too embarrassing when Celeste fed him the soup.

He even puked so much the last night too. He did not know how Celeste was able to endure so much of his filth. He must have been extremely stinky.

He could not even stand his own stench anymore, especially when he was in front of Celeste. Gary felt greatly uncomfortable, so he quickly lifted the quilt and went to the bathroom.

After all, he still needed to wash up. Celeste was a little worried. She hesitated for a while, but soon she followed him. "You need to be careful, don't faint inside. Call me if you need anything."
