Gary unlocked his phone and opened up the messages.
Every single message was sent by Janice, and every one of them was her cursing at him.
She was saying that he hadn't kept his promise and was going back on his words, as well as saying that he was not a man and his words were all lies.
She even added on by saying that he had taken her innocence away and was not taking responsibility for it.
She added to say that he had no conscience at all. After all those years that she was devoted to him, if he hadn't liked her, why did he still flirt with her?
In conclusion, everything that was said was rather ill to the ears. She even called Gary a d*ckhead.
The corner of his lips curled up and he let out a sneer as he put down his phone. He looked at Celeste's phone next to his on the table and recalled that Janice had called her a few times as well earlier. With a glint in his eyes, he turned on Celeste's phone and looked at it too.
There were also a few messages.
He read the first one.
"Celeste, I do not believe that you don't care about whatever happened between me and Gary at all. If you really don't care, that would be too strange. Whatever you're doing now is because you want a revenge on me and Gary, right? You don't really love him, you just want to own him. I am warning you, Celeste. A guy like him is not worth your love. He has betrayed you now, and he will do it again in the future."
Gary frowned and he thought that Janice really was detestable.
Seeing that he wasn't responding to her, she sent messages to Celeste and said all those things, just to mess with Celeste's heart.
He really wanted to delete those messages, afraid that it would affect Celeste, but as he was about to do it, he realized that Celeste would probably misunderstand if he had really deleted it.
Therefore, Gary hesitated at that moment.
He clicked into the second message.
"Celeste, the reason why you're not leaving Gary is not because you love him, right? You're actually greedy about his family's riches, right? I heard that his family is really famous in our country. You're only holding on so hard because you're after his
wealth.
Hmph! I've always looked down on you because you're just a greedy woman. You're very pretentious. From the start since I got to know you in Scotland, I already knew you were this kind of girl. You are pretentious and cheap. You will never be happy in the future because you are not suitable for Gary."
D*mn it.
If Celeste wasn't suitable for him, was a wretched girl like Janice suitable for him?
That was really ridiculous.
No one could be that shameless.
Gary had never seen such self-absorbed person in his life. Janice would probably be the first when it came to plain ignorance.
As he opened the third message, he was immediately stunned. A sharp glint flashed across his eyes, emanating a penetrating bright light.
That d*mned woman. She apparently wouldn't give up until he and Celeste were separated.
The third message read, "Celeste, I never intended to show you this picture. However, since you have humiliated me again and again, there is no need for me to keep such a picture from you. I will let you see it. This is my counterattack, and it is only the beginning.
I have pictures of that night. Take a look, and make your own judgment on whether or not something really happened between me and Gary."
With the phone in his hand, Gary's hand started to tremble, his veins on the back of his hand bulging.
That was because in the fourth message, there was a media attached along with it.
It was obvious that it was an explicit photo.
The angle the picture was taken was extremely tricky.
Gary was lying on the bed, motionless and his face red. His eyebrows were knitted and he seemed to be in a lot of pain.
Janice was sitting on top of him, and both of them were naked.
It was a selfie. Janice was taking picture of herself sitting on top of Gary.
It was obvious what those two were doing from this angle.
If one was just to look at the picture, one would definitely be in doubt. Gary doubted himself too. Had something really happened between him and Janice?
However, as he saw that his eyes were tightly shut, he could conclude that he wasn't in the state to do anything.
That was a fake picture, but it looked real. It was Janice doing whatever she was doing, and he was clueless.
D*mn it. Alcohol really was a man's poison.
He really got into trouble because of alcohol.
Gary initially wanted to delete the picture, but he finally decided to keep it.
