True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2043

Gary sat in the car and adjusted his seat. He leaned back into the chair, holding his phone. He put the phone away with an incredibly sour expression after he ended the call.

He raised his hands to his temples and rubbed them hard, feeling a headache coming. Suddenly, a thought flashed through his mind and he made another call.

The call went through very quickly.

Gary regulated his composure before saying monotonously, "Xyrion."

"Gary." There seemed to be a hint of hesitation and nervousness in Xyrion's voice. "It's you!"

"Yeah, it's me." Gary's voice was low and unhurried. "I'm sure you know why I'm calling."

It was silent for a while before Xyrion replied mockingly. "Why would I know why you're calling? It's not like we're close."

Gary scoffed. "I don't have much of a relationship with you, but I'm close to your half- brother, Yandrea." "And?" Xyrion said in a deep voice.

"You share a complicated relationship with Janice, right? You've given up a lot for her." Gary's tone was nonchalant, but it was grating on Xyrion's nerves.

As expected, when Janice's name was mentioned, Xyrion paused for a few seconds on the other side of the phone. His breathing seemed to have quickened.

Silence ensued.

Gary didn't give him the chance to speak. He continued, "You fell out with your brother over Janice, but she doesn't even give you the time of day. Instead, she's obsessed with me. Are you really okay with that?"

However, Xyrion was not irritated by what Gary said. Instead, he snorted mockingly. "Who ever said that you have to obtain the person of your affections? I like Janice, and it doesn't have anything to do with whether she likes me back or not. Don't try to provoke me. I know what I'm doing."

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Gary asked, his tone calm.

He had to be patient because Xyrion might have the answers to his questions.

"Of course I do." Xyrion gave Gary a confident answer.

Gary sneered. "Even if this woman had spoken impolitely to Yandrea and had even hurt him?"

"Gary, let me remind you that we're talking about Janice here. She's your woman, and she became pregnant because of you. Your uncle caused her to have a miscarriage, and she suffered in the hospital because of you. If you're a man, then you should pity her." Xyrion snarled at Gary coldly.

"Janice is not my woman." Gary said indifferently.

"Ha!" Xyrion sneered, and let out an air of anger.

He turned agitated. "You're a b*stard, Gary Smith. You played Janice and caused her to lose the baby, yet you have no pity for her. You've hurt Janice repeatedly for Celeste. Are you even a man?"

"It's what she deserved." Gary replied coldly. "I also need to correct you on something. Janice has never been my woman, and I've never touched her."

Xyrion snorted. It was obvious that he did not believe Gary.

He angrily rebuked, "I expected you to say that. You've never been someone who admits their mistakes."

"I don't know what I've done wrong." Gary's tone was calm and placid. "Oh yes, I did make a mistake, and that was being polite to Janice in the first place." "Gary, don't push it! She just lost her baby!" Xyrion shouted loudly over the phone.
