True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2073

Gary wanted to hide the news that Celeste had left the Jones family home, but how could he hide such a thing?

Grace found out what was going on very quickly as she didn't see Gary nor Celeste the entire day.

She asked the butler, "Why did Gary and Celeste not come down for breakfast? They haven't been back all day too. Did they inform you about this? Are they coming back for dinner?"

The butler shook his head, and he was very confused too. "I don't know, Madam. I thought you knew where they went."

"You didn't even notice they were gone?" Grace was even more shocked.

The butler was taken aback by Grace's words, and he felt as if his job was on the line here. "How about I go and check the cameras to see what time they left?"

"Hurry up and go." Grace felt that something wasn't quite right, so she asked the butler to check.

Ten minutes later, the housekeeper came back with a worried look on his face.

"Madam, I just checked the cameras and found that Miss Celeste left before dawn. She brought a suitcase with her, and she looked like she was going away for a while.

"She didn't wake anyone, and the guard said that she'd left on her own. She told him that you knew she was leaving.

"Master Gary was not home for the entire night. He came back shortly after Miss Celeste left, and he stayed in the house for a brief period before he left.

"I guess that Master Gary must have figured out that Miss Celeste had gone missing, so he went to look for her. Did they argue?"

Grace swayed a little on her feet when she heard this, and the butler was scared stiff. "Don't worry too much, Madam. You're pregnant now so you have to take care of yourself."

Grace shook her head and said, "I'm fine. Call Heinz and ask him to come back right away. Tell him about what happened as well."

"Yes, I'll do it right away." The butler helped Grace to the sofa and hurried to make a phone call.

Heinz came back as soon as he received the news.

He saw Grace's worried expression as soon as he

came home, and it tipped him off that Grace was very worried about what happened.

He sat down beside his wife and said, "You don't have to worry so much. Celeste is an adult. I don't think she'll just leave like that."

"How do you know that?" Grace was quite anxious. "You have no idea how sad she is. You don't understand women at all, Heinz. She's suffered through so much, but she still tried her best to take care of our feelings. Hence, she kept it all inside. Don't you think she is carrying so many burdens?"

"She's not that fragile, my love." Heinz comforted Grace.

"You don't get it. She doesn't have anything now." Grace became even more anxious. "She must have left because she couldn't take it anymore. Furthermore, Celeste and Gary came back with gloomy faces after their walk yesterday, so I'm guessing that they argued.

"People tend to be impulsive after they fight, so God knows what they'd do? Hurry up and send someone after Celeste. You have to find her and make sure she's safe. We can deal with the rest later."

Heinz looked at his wife and said, "I know where Celeste is."

"You do?" Grace was stunned by the admission, then she frowned. "Why didn't you say so earlier? You made me worry for nothing."

Heinz sighed. "It's exactly as you said. She's hurting very badly, and she needs time to be alone. Don't worry, I'll have someone keep an eye on Celeste. However, don't tell Gary about this."

"Don't tell Gary?" Grace understood what Heinz meant at once.

Heinz replied, "It's not a bad thing for them to be separated for a time. This would help them both to calm down and think."

"Won't this make Gary extremely worried?" Grace was still concerned. Gary was her son after all, and she knew that he was proud and stubborn.

Heinz replied, "Well, he asked for it. He locked Janice up after she came, and Janice is one stubborn girl as well. She tried to kill herself."

"Huh?" Grace was even more stunned.

"Nevertheless, she's okay. I checked on her earlier. After she was locked up, she tried to smash her head in with the wall. She was bleeding pretty badly, but the wound has been stitched and bandaged."

"I'm glad she's all right." Grace was really shocked.

She had no clue what was going on with kids nowadays. Why were they all so stubborn? They were willing to kill themselves for love.

Of course, Janice was quite a pitiful girl as well.

She looked at Heinz and asked, "What about Gary?"

"Gary?" Heinz sneered. He was very dissatisfied with Gary, and it showed. "He refused to let anyone send Janice to the hospital. Instead, he had a doctor simply stitch up Janice's wound. He doesn't even care if Janice dies or not."
