True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2078

Heinz was taken aback. Gary was still able to tease him even while he was in dire straits. It seemed like Gary's tongue was still sharp even though Celeste left.

Frankly speaking, Heinz was rather relieved.

"I'm serious," Heinz said, "You two lack basic trust in each other. Celeste doesn't believe you. If you two get back together, there are still too many things to sort out."

He continued, saying, "To be honest, a girl with her character should be pampered her entire life."

Gary's personality was a little problematic, so Heinz was worried about him being together with Celeste. Restraint wasn't Gary's forte, so the girl would have a hard time.

If they were truly together, Celeste would probably suffer a lot.

"Trust is built on the backs of shared experiences and time, not at the beginning." Gary had matured from his various experiences with Celeste. "When you and mom were first together, I'm sure that you guys didn't really trust one another. You only fully trusted each other after a while."

That was true so Heinz nodded.

He and Grace had gone through a lot to be able to get where they were today. No matter what came their way, they would still remain faithful to each other.

Even when they argued and fought, they both knew where to stop.

He also knew that they wouldn't hurt each other.

However, Heinz was still a little worried when he thought of Celeste's personality. "Celeste's personality was shaped by the way she was brought up. You need to think about whether you two can live together for the rest of your lives. If you're not confident that you can make her happy, then don't go to her."

"Do you mean that I should take this opportunity to truly break up with Celeste?" Gary asked.

Heinz remained silent to show his agreement.

Gary glanced at his father and said slowly, "Even if I didn't want to break up, Celeste won't ever want to be together with me ever again."

He smiled wryly as he spoke, his handsome visage was filled with loneliness.

He remembered how Celeste cried in front of him and how defeated she looked.

She'd tried her best.

Gary knew very well how Celeste felt about him.

However, the issue with Janice had deeply wounded Celeste. She wasn't a very secure person in the first place. The incident with Janice was just salt on the wound.

Gary didn't say anything else. He stood up and turned to leave.

Heinz said earnestly, "I know that you might not listen to me, and you might think that my words are too harsh, but I hope you really give this some thought.

"Even if you could prove your innocence and be together with Celeste again.

"I hope that you can consider what I said carefully. With how the two of you are, do you think you can spend the rest of your lives together?

"Do you think there will be any changes? If not, don't you think it's better to let it go?"

Gary looked back at his father. It was rare to see Gary not try to defend himself or his actions.

Gary understood what his father was trying to convey. Either way, Heinz just hoped that he and Celeste would live happily.

Gary remained silent for a while before saying, "I'll think about it, all right?"
