Sebastian could not help rolling his eyes. He was speechless. "No, thank you, I am not that noble. Also, I don't wish to save anyone's life. I don't care if she lives or dies."
Sylvia was furious after she heard that. "Sebastian, how could you say that? Humph! Why are you cursing her like that?"
Sebastian did not take it seriously at all, he looked at Sylvia coldly. "I am studying, and I don't want to be disturbed. Do not knock on my door anymore."
"Does that mean you are not going to help at all?" Sylvia did not expect Sebastian to be so ungentlemanly and indifferent. It was unlike him.
It was very different from how Sebastian usually was. Was he really so reluctant to help Claudia?
Even if he did not like her, there was no need to show such a high level of protest.
Sylvia narrowed her eyes, she observed Sebastian for a little while.
Sebastian was still as expressionless as ever. A cold aura emanated all over him.
However, Sylvia was still reluctant to just give up like that. After a few moments of silence, she used her mother as an excuse.
Sebastian could care about nothing all he wanted, but there was no arguing with the fact that he cared about his mother very much.
Therefore, she would bring out the wildcard she had and see if it worked.
"Okay, it looks like you are not going to help at all even when she really needs it. I will tell mom about this. Let's see what she has to say about it."
When he heard her say that, Sebastian immediately frowned. He pressed his lips together, and his expression turned even colder.
Sylvia did not even get the ointment back from him, she turned around and was ready to leave at once.
Sebastian said in a low voice, "Using mom to threaten me won't do anything."
Sylvia did not look back. "Okay, let's see about that."
As she said that, Sylvia took out her cell phone and called their mother in the corridor.
Soon, the call was connected.
Sylvia spoke to the phone, "Mom, it's me, Sylvia."
Sebastian frowned, he was very unhappy. He quickly walked up, and before Sylvia had the chance to say anything, he grabbed the phone and spoke, "Mom, it's me, Sebastian."
"Sebastian?" Grace's voice came from the other side, she was a little puzzled. "Have you met with Sylvia and the rest?"
"Yes, I have." Sebastian spoke on the phone, "Sylvia, Mr. Trevino, and the others are all here. We are in the villa now. We are just reporting this to you. Don't worry."
"Oh, I see." Grace was a little puzzled, "I thought that something happened. It's great that everything is good. Take good care of Sylvia. Claudia is Mr. Trevino's cousin, so treat her well too. Don't make things difficult for Sylvia, okay?"
When Sebastian heard that, his expression turned stiff once more. He did not say anything, he only hummed in acknowledgement.
Sylvia watched as Sebastian snatched her phone away. Not only that, he was even hiding what was happening from their mother. To be honest, she did not really want to complain to Grace about what happened, but Sebastian's reaction was truly different from his usual self.
Regardless, it seemed that Sebastian was really protective of their mother, so much so that it felt abnormal. He was really too kind to their mother, and he did not want her to worry for him at all.
So, Sylvia still really admired Sebastian for that.
Soon after, Sebastian hung up the phone.
Sylvia looked at her brother proudly, she said with a smile, "Since you won't let me complain, hurry up and help me."
With that, she took her phone back from her brother and ran away.
In the corridor, Sebastian's brows twisted into a knot. He suppressed his annoyance as he stood in the corridor and turned to walk towards Sylvia's room.
At that moment, Claudia was still sitting by the bed. When she saw him entering the room, she raised her eyebrows slightly.
However, she did not say anything. She just looked at Sebastian, her gaze sharp and intent.
She was not in a hurry to say anything, but her gaze continued to be sizing up the man who entered the room.
When Sebastian realized that he was being observed, his heart was filled with annoyance once more. He felt greatly frustrated.
He felt really unhappy and uncomfortable upon being stared at by her so openly, it was as if she was inspecting an item.
Sebastian entered, he looked down at Claudia.
He threw the ointment that Sylvia had stuffed in his hands to the bed and said in a bad tone, "You sprained your ankle, not your hands. I believe that you can still apply the ointment on your own."
When Claudia heard that, she frowned. "Will you not even help me with this? You are right, my hands are perfectly fine, but it is still inconvenient for me to apply the ointment on myself. What's more, my foot will be in pain if I lift it. Can't I even bother you to help me with this?"
"I don't want to help." Sebastian refused without hesitation.
Claudia looked at the ointment next to her, but she did not move either.
Sebastian turned around, he was ready to leave.
Claudia had no intentions of making him stay at all, and she did not say anything either.
That was quite peculiar.
Sebastian went to the door, he paused for a moment. In the end, he still left without looking back.
Claudia shrugged.
She was not a pretentious girl to begin with. She could still apply the ointment on her own.
Since he would not pity her and show her tender loving care, then there was no need for her to force him to do that.
She sat down for a while, then she opened the ointment and applied it on herself.
Shortly after Sebastian left the room, he was not in a hurry to go back to his room. Rather, he stood by the corridor for a while.
It was only until he heard the sound of a package being torn open from the room that he smiled slightly.
