True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2138

"I'm not doubting his memory at all, but I just think I'm not that special in his heart." Claudia shrugged and her expression seemed a little bitter. "You'd probably understand."

Sylvia was a little surprised, she always thought that Claudia was a confident type of girl. Yet, seeing how Claudia wasn't being quite confident then, Sylvia inexplicably felt her heart aching.

They were both girls, and they knew that falling in love with a boy would cost them way too much.

"Even so, I still think he won't forget you." Sylvia comforted her, "You left him an unforgettable impression, so how could he forget you? Besides, I think that he treats you differently."

"Thank you for comforting me." Claudia smiled. "However, no matter what the results would end up to be, I will still accept it."

She was grateful that Sylvia was kind enough to comfort her, but when it came to relationships, she was willing to admit defeat if she lost in the game.

Even with hard work, it still wasn't up to her to decide the outcome of it.

Soon, Claudia bid Sylvia farewell and went to the Jones family's villa on the mountaintop.

When the butler saw her, he was also very surprised.

"Miss Loris, you're here."

"Yes, Mr. Butler, it's me."

"Why are you here?" The butler was very surprised. "Sylvia isn't here today."

"I am not here to see her. I am here for Sebastian," Claudia said with a smile.

Hearing that, the butler was completely stunned. "Are you looking for Young Master Sebastian?"

"Yes." Claudia nodded seriously. "I'm looking for Sebastian."

The butler felt baffled. He did not know why Claudia was looking for Sebastian, but since she had come, she was a guest no matter what.

He said to her politely, "Miss Loris, please come with me then."

"All right."

Claudia followed the butler into the living room.

"The young master is reading upstairs. I'll go inform him right away," the butler said.

Claudia smiled again and said, "It's fine. You may go ahead with your business. I know which room his is. I'll go up and look for him. It won't take too long."

"Uh?" The butler was still stunned. He didn't expect Claudia to be so straightforward and blunt.

"What's wrong?" Claudia smiled, a sweet smile appeared on her beautiful face. "Are you afraid that I might bully your young master?"

The butler felt embarrassed at once.

Although he really thought so earlier, he was too embarrassed to admit it when Claudia said that. "How could it be? How would you bully Young Master Sebastian?"

Furthermore, the butler was well aware of Sebastian's skills, he wasn't someone that would easily get bullied by someone else.

"If that's the case, what are you afraid of?" Claudia smiled and said, "I'm going upstairs. You should go ahead with your business."

The butler stared at Claudia and thought to himself that it should be all fine.

He then went to prepare some tea.

Claudia soon arrived at the door of Sebastian's room on the second floor.

She stood at the door for a while and then raised her hand and knocked on the door.

"Knock, knock!"

Sebastian was solving a mathematics question when the knock on the door interrupted his train of thoughts. He frowned as he stood up and walked towards the door.

He opened the door and wanted to tell the butler not to disturb him for anything, and to not even greet him or ask if he needed anything.

However, when he saw the girl standing at the door after opening the door, he was stunned and he frowned even harder.

"What are you doing here?" Sebastian's tone didn't sound too pleasant, and it seemed as if he wasn't welcoming her at all.

"Well, I can't do you." Claudia was still very straightforward.

Sebastian's face turned red in an instant.
