True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2197

"Okay. I didn't expect you to agree to help me anyways," Claudia said with a smile. Her tone was slightly sarcastic when she continued, "After all, you're a weak minor. You might not have the strength to help me."

Sebastian had already expected her to say so. He replied nonchalantly, "True. I am weak. I'm not like you Madam Loris. I don't have the strength of an ox or of someone who's much older than me."

Claudia frowned, not expecting him to say that she was as strong as an ox. However, she wasn't mad as she stared at him before flashing him a grin, "Well, it's better to be strong than weak. There's a blurry line between a man and a woman nowadays. I think you should work out more if you don't want people to be confused about your gender."

D*mn it.

Sebastian was furious at her for making fun of him on purpose.

He had good looks, but he was by no means weak.

Furthermore, he was well-trained. It was not that she had not fought against him before, so why was she satirizing him like this?

It seemed that there was a feud between them.

Chigo noticed something, so he smiled and suggested, "Sebastian, how about this? You can help her with her luggage and I'll just leave ahead of you."

"Chigo?" Sebastian looked at him.

Chigo smiled and patted him on the shoulder, muttering, "Go ahead now."

With that, Sebastian could only turn and leave.

Similarly, Claudia smiled at Chigo and followed suit.

Chigo nodded at them and left.

Claudia had to give it to Chigo when she saw him leaving in the opposite direction. He was truly a man with quite a sense of propriety.

Even if he liked Sylvia very much, he would not pester her nor force her to accept him.

It was rare to see a man who knew when to stop.

However, she was still worried about her cousin.

She followed Sebastian with her head lowered as she walked forward, not saying a word.

Hearing nothing from her, Sebastian turned around to check on her. He was surprised to see her staring at the ground.

However, she had always been eccentric and thick-skinned. Who cared about what she was thinking?

Just then, Claudia caught him looking at her just as he was about to turn away.

"Why are you looking at me?" She asked directly.

Sebastian was taken aback once more. His brows furrowed in displeasure as he retorted, "How do you know I'm looking at you if you weren't looking at me?"

"Pfft!" She let out a laugh.

Her sudden laughter made his ears turn red from anger.

"Sebastian, your eyes are on me, so who were you looking at if not me?" Claudia giggled, "I don't mind you looking, so why are you mad?"

"Who's mad?" Sebastian was reluctant to admit it.

A smile crept to Claudia's lips as she echoed, "That's true. I wonder who's mad now."

There was no sarcasm in her eyes.

Sebastian, on the other hand, felt extremely awkward.

He strode forward and never looked back at her again.

Behind him, Claudia kept teasing, "Admit it. You

like me, but you're too embarrassed to admit it."

D*mn woman.

Sebastian quickened his pace as he shuffled forward. He didn't want to have anything to do with the woman behind him.

Claudia also quickened her pace and caught up with him.

Soon, they exited the night market and arrived at some old memorial- style buildings. Claudia hurriedly grabbed Sebastian to stop him.
