Heinz just kept on staring blankly upstairs in the direction his son had left. Thoughts were running in his head.
Grace also felt a little weird seeing as her husband was putting on such an expression and asked with a frown, "What are you looking at? Why do you keep looking in the direction where Sebastian left? What are you thinking about?"
"It's nothing," Heinz immediately came to his senses and smiled gently at his wife. He took some food for her and changed the topic, "Eat up quickly. You should eat more."
"Something's wrong," Grace's eyes were fixed on Heinz, not wanting to miss even the slightest change in him, "I suppose you just found out about something, but you don't want to let me know about it, right?"
They had been husband and wife for so many years. With just one single look and one small move, she could understand what her husband was thinking about.
Heinz didn't avoid her gaze and said to his wife, "No, why are you so suspicious of me? Have you been too tired recently?" "I know you're worried that I'm pregnant at such an old age. You're afraid that I will get worried by all sorts of things, so you refuse to tell me about anything. But do you know that the more you act like this, the more I'll think about it and the more it will affect my body?" Grace put down her fork and looked at her husband solemnly. She had never been so serious before.
Heinz was also dumbstruck. He thought that as long as he just acted as if nothing happened and did not admit anything, his wife wouldn't be affected by it. Yet, he had forgotten that his wife was a really sensitive person.
Heinz gripped the fork in his hand so tightly that his knuckles turned white.
"It's really nothing. You're thinking too much. Perhaps I'm also just thinking too much."
Heinz could only tell her about his worries. He was afraid that he might affect and hurt her, but he didn't hide it from her anymore.
"Then what were you thinking about? Were you thinking too much?" Grace was completely confused.
"I just think that ever since last night, Sebastian seems to have something on in his mind. I don't know if you have noticed that he has changed since he came back last night." "Did you also notice it?" Grace was also taken aback and added, "I thought I was the only one who noticed it. Indeed, he has changed since he came back last night. His face became tense and his expression was very cold. He also kept losing focus while I was talking to him. Could it be that he is in love?"
"He's probably not in love. It might not be any big problems that we should be worried about," Heinz wasn't worried at all that his youngest son would fall in love at a young age. He was just worried about something else and explained, "I'm more concerned about who he is in love with. What kind of a girl is she? How old is she? It's fine if they are classmates, but I'm just afraid that she isn't one of the girls in his school."
"Who would it be then?" Grace was even more confused, her expression growing solemn, "Do you know the details already?"
"I don't know anything about the details yet," Heinz shook his head and continued to say, "However, if we want to confirm anything, I think there is still one more thing we might need to do."
"What are you talking about? Don't keep me guessing," Grace urged her husband. She was so anxious, but he was still deliberately keeping her curious, "Hurry up and get to the point."
Heinz said, "When Sylvia comes back later today, you can ask Claudia to come in and sit for a while. You should observe what happens then, and perhaps you might find out about something."
Upon hearing this, Grace took a deep and sharp breath immediately. Even if she was slow witted, she understood the meaning of her husband's words, "Do you suspect that our youngest son has fallen in love with Mr. Trevino's cousin, Claudia?"
"Maybe," Heinz nodded seriously, "I asked Clinton to look into it before and found some clues. Claudia seems to have fallen in love with our youngest son, and our youngest son is also acting differently towards the girl."
"Oh my god, but they are at least five or six years apart," Grace took a deep breath and looked quite concerned, "But why do I have a feeling this isn't how things are? How could Claudia fall for our son?"
"What's wrong with our son?" Heinz didn't like his wife's tone and clarified, "All our sons are outstanding and talented. They are all pretty handsome. Every single one of them would stand out amongst the crowd."
"I'm not implying that our son is not handsome. The problem is that I think girls like more mature and steady men, not younger boys."
"Didn't you think there was something strange about their interaction when she first had dinner with our family?" Heinz recalled the morning when they had breakfast together carefully. Sebastian's reaction that day was indeed quite surprising. "He insisted on calling her an aunt, and his face was so stern and uncompromising."
"But I think it's impossible for them to fall for each other. They wouldn't have many chances to see each other, and their lives have nothing to do with each other either," The harder Grace tried to recall, the more she thought that things were impossible between them.
"When love happens, all it takes is just a look at each other. Even if they are separated by a crowd, all they need is that one glance for them to fall in love," Heinz deduced seriously, "Perhaps love at first sight may not be as strong as falling for each other with passing time, yet it is definitely a stronger and more vivid feeling. At the very least, I think they are attracted to each other at first."
Grace frowned when she heard these words. She was growing more and more astounded by the minute.
She put down her fork and lost her appetite somehow. She looked at her husband several times and wanted to say something but stopped on second thought.
