True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 225

Grace Smith's heart skipped a beat. She walked towards the man.

'What was Heinz Jones doing at the newspaper office so early in the morning?' She wondered to herself.

Heinz Jones smirked at Grace. Grace felt that Heinz couldn't wait to sleep with her. He was so terrifying.

Grace pursed her lips and said, "What are you doing here so early in the morning?"

Heinz looked at her and said, "I'm not here to see you."

Grace was baffled. She asked, "Really? Who are you here to see then?"

"I'm looking for your chief editor." Heinz said in a deep voice.

Grace was stunned. She said, "Well, I'll head inside then since I am not the person you're looking for."

She said as she walked past him and ignored him.

Heinz was consumed by anger when she ignored him.

"Stop!" Heinz shouted.

Grace could only look at him and repeated his previous statement, "You said you're here to look for the chief editor, right?" "Yup." Heinz responded.

"Please go in and wait for her." Grace said.

"Hermione isn't in yet," Heinz said. Then, he looked at his watch and said, "There's no one in your newspaper office. You're the first to arrive."

Grace nodded her head and said, "Yes, I am slightly early today. Let's go in and wait for the chief editor together."

"Now, that sounds like a good plan," Heinz said. Then, he walked into the office with Grace.

"Please have a seat. They'll be here soon." Grace offered.

She then quickly put her bag down.

Heinz walked over and sat down in her seat.

Grace turned around and saw him sitting on her seat. He was staring at her. He looked like he was planning to do something in his mind.

However, Grace glanced at him and didn't take it seriously. She asked, "Why are you looking for our chief editor?"

Heinz looked at her coldly, "You abruptly hung up the phone last night. How dare you treat me like this?"

Grace was shocked. She offered him an explanation. "I told you I was busy last night."

Heinz looked at her calmly and said, "Oh, I forgot you're a very busy woman. Your sister needs to be fed and all. You're becoming more and more like her parent."

His tone was too harsh.

Grace pursed her lips and said impatiently, "That's

my sister."

Well, he was technically right. She was a parent and she was indeed playing the role of both a mother and a father. Alice was also helping her to raise her kid.

Her son's biological father has absolutely no clue about what's going on. He knows nothing!

She pursed her lips and said, "I really won't talk to you if all you're going to do is bring up last night's topic."

Heinz wanted to say something unpleasant. However, he suddenly remembered what Jensen had told him. He said, "Well, what I am trying to say is - give me a chance to treat her like my own sister as well."

Grace couldn't believe what she had heard. She looked at Heinz sceptically.

It made him crazy when he saw that she didn't believe him. He said, "Why are you looking at me like this? I'm serious. I want to help take care of your sister together."

"Heinz. What do you mean?" Grace stood at the opposite side of the table and looked at him. She still couldn't believe it.

Heinz was a little annoyed. He said, "I'm serious."

Grace frowned and said, "I'm surprised to hear you say that. But to be frank, I don't believe you."

Heinz was speechless.

Grace said, "Are you blaming my sister for slandering you? You're only saying that because you want revenge?"

"Do I look like a person who would hold a grudge?" He wanted to use her sister to win her heart over. He never thought that Grace wouldn't believe him.

Grace nodded her head and said seriously, "Yup. I know you. You'll seek revenge even for the pettiest matter."

"You-"

Grace smiled at him and said, "Please don't be angry. I know my sister slandered you and I'm sorry. Please don't seek vengeance on her, okay?"
