As soon as Claudia heard Sebastian saying that he would go to her apartment, she was stunned right away.
Her eyes widened in shock as she stared at Sebastian.
She knew very well that at that moment, she looked a little too shocked.
So, she soon came back to her senses. She pursed her lips and said, "I thought you once told me that you would never want to go to my place? Why did you suddenly change your mind?"
"Since when did I say that?" Sebastian asked calmly. His eyes gleamed. It was as if he had see through Claudia's thoughts.
Claudia thought, "Does he have to make it obvious?"
Everyone could tell.
Sebastian had an aura emanating from his body, and it was all hatred towards her.
He abhorred her so much, so no doubt he would not want to go to her place.
Regardless, Claudia just smiled and said,
"Actually, Sebastian, I don't think we're close enough to the point where I can invite you over to my house. This makes me feel awkward too. Don't you think?"
Claudia's rejection made Sebastian frown again. He wondered whether she was really interested in him or whether she was playing hard to get then.
That was right.
Sebastian felt that Claudia must be playing hard to get.
At the thought of that, the corner of Sebastian's mouth lifted into a sharp expression. He asked coldly, "Didn't you invite me over to your place just moments ago? Why are you taking back your offer now?"
"I did invite you, but I'm just being polite." Claudia retorted righteously, "Sebastian, I asked as a courtesy. You didn't have to take it too seriously. Isn't that what people do nowadays?"
Sebastian's eyes narrowed.
What a sharp-tongued woman! She was really good at twisting her words!
"Does this mean that you're admitting to yourself being hypocritical? Were you just trying to be polite? Hmph, would you do that with me?"
"Sebastian, you sound like you want me to be frank with you." Claudia smiled. She was not ashamed, but rather, she was very calm. "I asked you as a courtesy. You don't have to take it too seriously."
After hearing that, Sebastian snorted and said rather sarcastically, "I think you are afraid that I will find out what you did to my sister, and it must be something that she shouldn't be doing."
"Sebastian, mind your words. What bad thing could I possibly do to your sister? I'm here to buy some desserts. What can I possibly do to her?" Claudia was trying to split hairs. Regardless, she wasn't going to let Sebastian see through her intentions. "I'm not God. How can I possibly be in two places at the same time? Don't you think so? "
"Are you trying to stop me from finding out the truth?" Sebastian narrowed his eyes. His gaze was a little sharp as he swept a cold glance across Claudia's face.
Claudia looked right back at him, she did not try to avoid him.
Her eyes were fixed on Sebastian's, her gaze sharp.
She even raised her chin slightly, looked at Sebastian and said faintly, "Do I need to stop you from finding out anything? Who do you think you are? A policeman? Don't you think you're stepping over the line?"
"Claudia, I'm warning you. I don't have time to argue with you. All I know is that you're trying to stop me from finding out what my sister is actually doing at your place." Sebastian's tone has also suddenly become a lot more serious.
"You're very funny." Claudia laughed.
At the same time, she also sneered. There was a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
Sebastian frowned again.
"You sound as if you really want to go to my house. Are you secretly interested in me? You better make it clear. What happens if I take advantage of you when you go to my place? You better not regret your decision."
In order to prevent Sebastian from going to her place, Claudia had thrown caution to the wind and turned herself into a frivolous woman.
In fact, Claudia was sure that Sebastian would hate her for saying that, but Sebastian's reaction was different from what she expected as she just finished speaking.
Sebastian smirked. "Do you want to take advantage of me? Miss Loris, don't forget that I am still under age. If anything happens, you'll have to be responsible legally."
Claudia was stunned.
She really did not expect that answer.
She did not expect Sebastian to behave like that at all.
However, what he said was right. Once something happened, she would have to bear the legal responsibility for it.
That was because the law would indeed protect him as a minor.
