True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 234

Grace shook her head. "No, you don't."

She'd be even more exhausted if Heinz drank the tonic soup.

Heinz snorted. "What a meddlesome butler! I'll fire him if he does this again."

Grace looked at him, and took a sip of her soup. She said, "You don't need a tonic soup. I guess I'm the one who needs my nutritions."

She'd felt as if her waist was going to break just now. She should drink some soup to strengthen her body, and it could enhance her beauty as well.

Heinz took a meaningful glance at her, "You really need more of that. It would then be easier for me if you had more stamina."

Upon hearing this, she blushed all the way to her ears. She lowered her head and continued to drink the soup.

"It seems that you're not quite the annoying master to your servants, judging by the way you interacted with the butler."

Heinz was consumed by anger after hearing her words. He asked, "Am I such a person?"

Grace also felt that it was impolite to say that. She burst into laughter and said, "No, you're a good person, so much so that the butler even dares to joke with you."

Heinz snorted and said with dissatisfaction,

''They're not respecting me anymore.”

"That's why I said that you're a good person,” she praised sincerely.

Heinz frowned and put down the spoon. He looked at her without saying anything.

Did Grace ever think that he wasn't a good person before then?

She was dumbstruck when she saw Heinz staring at her. She recalled what she had just said and somehow realized it was inappropriate for her to say so, thus she smiled immediately. "Oh, what I mean is that you're much better than I thought," she amended.

Heinz frowned. "Are there any differences?"

"Hehe..." Grace laughed, revealing her white teeth. She was very cute.

Heinz sighed and decided not to argue with her. He said, "Let's go for the movies later."

Grace shook her head. "No, I have to go back."

"Hey, how could you go back on your words? You promised to accompany me from 5.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight, didn't you?" Heinz said.

Grace remembered the text message she sent before. She nodded her head guiltily. "Yes, but I never expected for this to happen at that time. Moreover, I've already stayed with you long enough. I want to go back at night."

"For what?"

Grace wanted to say that she had to go back to be with her child. However, she couldn't get herself to say it.

How could she tell him that was their biological child?

"I didn't do my job well, and in fact, I'm embarrassed due to what happened in my office today. So, I want to make up for it. I'll have to find a new interviewee."

"Bullsh*t. Why would you have to find an interviewee?" Heinz said.

"Well, that's my job."

"Whatever it is, you have to keep your promise first. I don't care. You said you would spend time with me tonight." He said in a domineering tone.

"Where are we going to watch a movie?" she suddenly asked.

"Was that a yes?"

"Yes, it is, as I've promised you. But, I really do have to go back after 9 p.m," Grace said helplessly.

"Great." Heinz was in a good mood now, and proceeded to shovel down lots of food in an energetic manner.

Soon enough, the both of them had finished their meal, and it was already past five o'clock after they did a bit of reading.

Grace picked up her mobile phone to give Alice a call. "Alice, I'm going back at nine o'clock today."

"I see. Don't worry, I'll pick up Little Gary. I'm on my way now, and we'll go back home directly after picking him up," Alice replied.

Grace felt very embarrassed because she always had to bother her sister, "Okay. Be careful on the

road."

"Got it."

After hanging up the phone, Grace saw Heinz walking towards her, looking at her with a poker face.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Who did you just ask to be careful on the road huh?"

Grace was dumbfounded before she said, "It's a courtesy. I sincerely hoped for everyone to be fine."

Heinz pursed his lips. "I thought that you would only say that to me!"
