Heinz Jones picked Ernest up after noticing his hesitant look.

Ernest called with a sweet smile, "Dad!"

"Good boy," Heinz hugged him and put him down.

Little Gary tore himself away from Grace's arms and stared at Heinz with a cold face.

The little one did not bother to greet Heinz and he merely stared at him.

Meanwhile, Ernest was very polite. He smiled warmly at Grace and greeted, "Good morning, Aunt Smith."

"Hello, Ernest," Grace bent down and held him in her arms. She praised, "Ernest, you're such a polite child."

As she spoke, she glanced at Little Gary and said sternly, "Little Gary, shouldn't you greet too?"

Little Gary pursed his lips and stared at Heinz. He uttered, "Good morning, Heinz!"

Heinz twitched lips and mumbled, "Heinz?"

Did Little Gary just refer to him by his name?

"Yeah, Heinz," Little Gary replied. He nodded as though there was nothing wrong with the way he had addressed Heinz.

Grace Smith was speechless. She did not know whether she should laugh or cry. This child never took Heinz seriously.

She pursed her lips and adjusted her mood swiftly. She then said patiently, "Little Gary, do you think that you should greet like that?"

Little Gary stared at Grace. He knew that his Mommy was trying to teach him to be polite. However, he could not be polite whenever he met Heinz. He said, "But Mommy, Heinz didn't say anything about it."

"That's your father," Grace corrected.

Little Gary shrugged and replied lazily, "Yes, I know, but I just couldn't bring myself to call him that."

Grace's eyes widened. That was a good reason.

She knew that it was too demanding to ask the child to address Heinz as his father.

After all, Little Gary's father appeared too late in his world.

She stole a glance at Heinz.

Heinz shook his head. He was about to speak when Little Gary interrupted him.

"Besides, even if I have the nerve to call him that, he may be too embarrassed to answer back. I am afraid that he will die of embarrassment if he were to do such a shameless thing," Little Gary added. He stated another good reason.

Both Grace and Heinz were dumbfounded.

Heinz's lips twitched again.

He realized that his son was sent by God to punish him for his bad temper.

He could not get angry in front of this adorable little one. He had to put on a smiley face to please his son even if he was being criticized harshly.

He then walked over to Little Gary and bent down. He stared at his son and asked, "Why do I have to be embarrassed about it?"

"Aren't you?" Little Gary retorted.

"I won't be too ashamed to answer back if you called me 'Dad'," he said with a smile, "Come on, call me 'Dad'."

"I suppose you're really shameless then" Little Gary pouted and sighed, "You surprise me. You didn't raise me for the past five years and you didn't even know that I existed. You made my Mommy suffer but you still had the nerve to declare that I'm your child. You even felt that I was at fault for not addressing you as my father. I am amazed at how shameless you are."

Heinz looked at his son. The latter's cool little face resembled him.

He smiled and answered, "I'm mentally strong."

Gary pursed his lips again and muttered, "You're shameless. You're the most shameless person I know."
