True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 431

She followed Heinz all the way to the villa on the mountain, blushing.

As soon as they parked the car and entered the living hall, they immediately saw a candlelight dinner ready in the dining hall.

The butler waited there respectfully. When he saw them come back, the butler stepped forward and said, "Sir, Miss Smith, you are back. Dinner is ready."

"You may leave," Heinz said. "I'll eat with Grace."

"Yes," said the butler obediently. He nodded slightly to Grace and left quickly.

There were only two people left in the room. Grace felt more at ease, but her heart kept pounding.

Heinz took her hand and walked to the dining table. He took a look at the exquisite dishes on the table.

"I am going to wash my hands." After removing her coat and bag, she went to wash her hands.

Heinz put down his suit and went to the washroom with her too.

Just then, the phone rang.

He picked up the phone and looked at the number. It was Chief Stone.

Heinz was stunned and picked up the phone. "Aunt Stone?"

"Heinz, can you come to the hospital for a while?"

"Now?" Heinz was very surprised.

"Yes," Chief Stone said. "Mr. Lawson wants to see you. He has something to tell you."

"Are you sure it's a good idea for me to go now?" Heinz was a little worried that if he got angry, it would cause his blood pressure to rise again, and it might cause other complications.

"I know you're worried," Queenie said. "So are my cousin and I, but Mr. Lawson is saying that he has something to tell you. Apparently, if he passes away without telling you, he will regret it forever."

Heinz pursed his lips and looked at Grace who came out of the washroom. She looked at him and whispered, "Go ahead."

At that moment, Heinz felt extremely guilty in his heart. He felt that Grace was really a good woman.

He didn't want to go.

At least he didn't feel like going.

However, his rational side told him to go.

He gave Grace an apologetic glance, hesitated for a moment, and then said to the phone, "Okay, I'll be right there."

"Alright, drive safely."

"Okay."

After hanging up the phone, Heinz came over. In the face of Grace, he whispered, "I'm sorry, Grace."

"It's okay." She shook her head and said, "Go ahead. I'll eat some while waiting for you."

"Eat more!" He reached out and patted her on the shoulder.

Grace patted him on the arm with her hands and said, "Go ahead. Mr. Lawson's condition is not stable. Don't provoke him. Be more patient."

Heinz's eyes narrowed, and they were filled with surging emotions.

He looked at Grace carefully, reached out to hold her in his arms, hugged her tightly, and said in a hoarse voice, "Grace, I will never let you down in my life."

"Yeah, I know," said Grace as she hugged him with a smile.

He had said those words before.

Only then did he leave.

Watching him leave, Grace was stunned for a while. Then she washed her hands and sat at the table. She picked up the phone and looked at it for a while.
