True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 437

"Yes, looking for you," Chuck said to her. "The three of them are at the editor's office."

"Why are they looking for me?" Grace asked again.

Heinz was silent. Although he was a little surprised, he could roughly guess what was going on.

"I don't know," replied Chuck. Then, he looked at Heinz and smiled, saying, "Mr. Jones, you're here too."

Heinz nodded slightly, and then said to Grace, "They are most probably here for the final inquiry. Lorenzo's case is about to be brought to court."

She nodded and said, "I see. Let's go, I'll go to the editor's office first."

They quickly walked towards the editor's office.

When she knocked on the door, she heard Hermione's voice coming from inside. "Come in."

Grace pushed the door open and walked in. Sure enough, she saw three people sitting on the reception sofa, two men and one woman, all in their uniforms.

Hermione was also seated.

When she entered the room, Heinz followed closely behind.

As soon as the prosecutors saw Grace, they were taken aback, and said, "Mr. Jones is here too?"

Heinz walked in and nodded slightly. He looked at them and said, "Good day."

"Since Mr. Jones is here, have a seat please." Hermione said quickly.

Soon, Heinz was also seated.

"Mr. Jones, Miss Smith, we're here to ask Miss Smith some questions. We might even need her to testify at court," the female prosecutor said.

"Okay, I'll do what I need to do. I'll be fully cooperative," Grace said frankly.

"Well, Miss Smith, let's start."

Heinz sent a message through his mobile phone. He sat there quietly and said nothing.

He looked extremely calm, but his presence could be felt by everyone in the room.

The prosecutors began to ask about the incident that had happened the other day.

Finally, the male prosecutor asked, "Miss Smith, Lorenzo Chen is seriously injured now. Although he has no other major health issues, his ability as a man has been affected. According to the law, he is now a disabled person. Miss Smith, how did this happen?"

Grace felt stiff, and subconsciously looked at Heinz, Heinz shook his head slightly.

After thinking about it, she said, "I don't know. I was scared that day. I don't know how he got injured."

Heinz nodded slightly.

Those were the words their lawyer had told Grace to say.

It would be the best for society if people like Lorenzo lost their ability as males.

"Miss Smith, how can you not know?" It was obvious that the prosecutor was not satisfied with Grace's answer.

Nevertheless, Grace was very calm. She replied, saying, "I was the victim that day. I was almost raped by him. I was very scared and was in a panic. How would I know what happened to him?"

Seeing that Grace would not give them an answer, he immediately turned to look at Heinz.

"Mr. Jones, you were also there. You should be able to remember what happened that day."

Heinz nodded, and began speaking, "Yes, I do remember. Grace was hurt by Lorenzo that day. If I had been any later, it would be a tragedy."

"How did Lorenzo get so badly injured?" pressed the prosecutor.

"You have to ask Lorenzo," said Heinz, his gaze was piercing. "In such a critical moment, I only paid attention to Grace and was focused on looking after her."

"Lorenzo said you hurt him."

"I may have kicked him in a hurry. Perhaps I accidentally hit a vital part of his body. I didn't notice where I kicked."

The rest of the people looked at each other for a brief moment.
