True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 468

The butler could tell that the Old Master Carter was in a good mood. It seemed that he was really happy because his great-grandson had come.

However, it was hard for the butler to appreciate Master Carter's gloating.

He actually took pleasure in seeing his grandson being pushed around by others. He seemed so happy to see that. It was rare to see such a reaction in people.

"Young Master Jones is very considerate of Miss Smith. It seems that he really likes her," the butler said.

"Who knows?" Old Master Carter didn't seem to agree with the butler. He walked towards the door.

"Are you going out?" The butler hurriedly held him.

"I'll go take a look. Maybe I'll see something." Old Master Carter didn't go out and waited at the door, looking at the family of four outside from a distance. "I'm old, and I want to watch something fun. It delights me to see someone put that kid in his place."

The children looked so pleasing to the eye. The two children also looked incredibly alike.

The butler reminded him in a low voice, "Chief, look! Don't Ernest and Young Master Heinz look alike?" 'You don't need to tell me that," said the old man as he continued peeking at the people outside. "They really look alike. Remember to obtain all their DNA and send them to the lab. I want to know what's going on."

"Yes!" The butler nodded immediately. "That's a good idea."

"Be careful, don't let Heinz realize. Those two little ones are very smart too," Old Master Carter reminded.

"Yes, you can rest assured." The butler had a sense of propriety.

"And Grace too," added the old man as he looked out into the distance. "She's not easy to deal with either. These people are all not easy to deal with."

"Yes!" The butler also reminded Old Master Carter, "Keep your voice down. If Young Master Jones hears you, he won't be happy."

"Hmph," Old Master Carter didn't think much of it. "I don't care. I won't take it to heart when he's angry with me."

The butler was taken aback by that. He looked at the old man and was speechless.

Outside.

Heinz, Grace, and the children were playing with the puppies outside.

The two little puppies were really adorable.

Grace suddenly remembered something and turned to look in the direction of the house. She saw the Old Master at the door and the butler behind him.

Only then did she realize that the Old Master was probably about to get angry because they had stayed outside for quite a while.

"Heinz, let's go in quickly. The Old Master is waiting at the door," Grace reminded him.

Heinz looked at the children. They were still playing with the puppies. So, he told them, "Okay, let's go into the house with the puppies. Don't let great grandfather wait for you."

As soon as Gary and Ernest heard that they were going to enter the house with the puppies, they were immediately in high spirits.

"Okay, let's go in with the puppies," Gary said.

When Heinz saw his sons' reaction, he commented to Grace, "Look, even dogs are better than my grandfather."

"Screw you," Grace pinched him. "How can you say that?"

"It's true," Heinz sneered. His arm was pinched so hard that he grimaced in pain.

Old Master Carter caught sight of that. He snorted lightly, "What an eyesore. They're flirting in public."

The butler almost covered his face in embarrassment. "They seem to be in a good relationship."

Old Master Carter frowned, "The more they display their affection, the faster their relationship will end."

Once again, the butler was at a loss for words. He asked, "Did you hear that from a romance drama?"

"I read it from the gossip news," he replied. "Even romance dramas have this line in them."

The butler was speechless. He advised him, saying, "You'd better watch the news. Stop watching all these romance dramas."

"I love watching them," the old man snorted. "Why should I listen to you? What do you even know?"
