In Emerald Apartment.
One o'clock in the morning.
By the time Heinz arrived, it was already one o'clock.
He parked his car downstairs, turned on the lights in the car, and looked at himself in the mirror.
He had just taken a shower in his grandfather's house, hoping that he would look more energetic. He had also changed into a new set of clothes before coming.
After that, when he thought of what he had done before, he felt very agitated again.
How was he supposed to face Grace now?
After hesitating for a while, he got out of the car and went upstairs.
When he got there, he knocked on the door.
The knock on the door rang particularly clear in the quiet night.
Grace had just fallen asleep. When she heard the knock on the door, she immediately woke up.
"Knock! Knock! Knock!" There were a few knocks on the door.
Grace was sure that someone had come.
Her heart skipped a beat as she thought, "Could it be Heinz in the middle of the night?"
She wasn't in a hurry to open the door. She looked through the peephole first to make sure that it was Heinz outside, and seeing that it was him, she felt relieved.
It seemed that he had sobered up.
She opened the door, but her heart was in a mess.
The door opened.
Their eyes met.
He had changed his clothes, and his hair was still a little wet. It seemed that he had just taken a shower. His eyes were a little red, but he looked sober.
Heinz's eyes were glued to Grace's face. He opened his mouth but no words came out.
He was still a little embarrassed.
Grace only wore a nightdress. The material of the nightdress was slightly sheer, revealing her soft neck. With one look, Heinz's heart began to beat faster and he felt breathless.
He was a little impulsive because the alcohol was still in his body.
Grace's collarbone was beautiful with the perfect curve of her neck. Her skin was also fair and delicate like porcelain.
Looking at her, Heinz's heart beat faster.
Being stared at by him, she felt a little embarrassed, so she turned around and went into the house.
He followed her into the room.
Grace wanted to go back to the bedroom. However, at the thought of him coming here drunk, she gave him a big cup of warm water. He had already reached the bedroom door and was glaring at her.
She handed him a cup of water without looking at him. She just said, "Drink some water. You already drank a lot of wine. Do you have a headache?"
"Uh!" Heinz's face flushed with an uneasy look. Looking at her, he felt very embarrassed and took a sip of the glass and said, "Thank you. I do have a headache."
Grace opened the door of the bedroom and entered.
Heinz followed her in and closed the door behind them.
Grace reached the bedside to turn on the night light. She opened the quilt and covered herself. Then, she looked at him and said, "Drink some water, and go to sleep."
She did not mention anything about tonight's embarrassing incident.
Heinz breathed a sigh of relief in his heart. He knew that Grace had given him face and didn't say anything, but he was very apologetic in his heart.
"Grace, I've had too much to drink today."
"Hm," Grace nodded, "Yes, you drank a lot."
"Um," he hesitated. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it."
Grace didn't say anything and only looked up at him. Her big eyes were extremely bright and particularly clear, as if she was questioning his words.
Heinz was stunned and he suddenly came to his senses. He thought of something and said, "I did it on purpose. It shouldn't have been like this."
