"Knock knock." There was a knocking sound on the door.
Grace immediately pushed Heinz away and said, "You have a bad temper, yet you are pushing the blame on me. It must be the children knocking on the door."
As expected, as soon as the door was opened,
Little Gary was standing at the door, looking at them with sharp eyes.
The little guy didn't say anything. Instead, he was just studying his parents. He was scanning them from their heads to their toes.
The look in his eyes was extremely frightening.
When Grace saw him behaving like this, she immediately pursed her lips and felt a little nervous for no reason.
Heinz was staring at Little Gary at the same time.
"Boy, why did you knock on our door?"
"We are all waiting for you guys to eat dinner. It's already 7:30. Don't you have any idea about the time now?" Little Gary accused Heinz, "I warned you not to torture Mommy for too long. Why didn't you listen?"
Heinz was a little flustered and he felt a little chagrined. He looked at his son and a mysterious glint flashed across his eyes.
"This time, it was your mommy who took the initiative. I didn't insist on doing it, but when your mommy took the initiative. I somehow forgot to check the time."
"What?" In an instant, Grace looked like she was struck by lightning. She was completely dumbfounded.
"How could this d*mned Heinz say that?"
Little Gary frowned and looked at Grace.
His mommy's face was so red that it looked like a cooked shrimp. He was really surprised by what he had heard.
"Mommy, were you the one who took the initiative?" Little Gary did not expect this at all.
Grace shook her head subconsciously. "That's not true. Little Gary, don't listen to your father. Hurry up. Let's go eat."
"Mommy is shy." Heinz smiled and chipped in, "Kiddo, you should be careful in the future. It's all because of you that your mommy looks like this."
"Who knows." Little Gary looked at him. "You are not a gentleman at all."
"What's wrong with me?" Heinz asked in a deep voice.
"You can't just tell me straight even if it was Mommy who took the initiative. By telling me about the romantic stories between you two, you are betraying Mommy while poisoning my tender soul as well. You are an adult yet you don't know how to respect yourself."
"You are the one who is being rude and impolite
since you are criticizing me like that," Heinz didn't hold back at all this time.
He found that the more he was tolerant of this little guy, this little guy would take it a step further.
This time, he was going to retort to Little Gary.
"I won't make any concessions in the future," Heinz muttered silently.
To meet a worthy opponent was one of the little pleasures in life.
Little Gary was frowning with his little brows knitted together while staring at Heinz.
He still wanted to say something, but Grace stopped him and urged, "Come on, let's go eat. Aren't you hungry? Where is Ernest?"
"Ernest has been waiting for you guys."
The mother and son duo quickly went to the dining room.
Heinz followed them from behind.
As soon as he came out of the room, he noticed that Lester was waiting for him. Lester immediately came up and said, "President, I have a job to report to you."
Heinz nodded and said to Grace, "You can go ahead first. I need to head to the study."
After that, they headed to the study.
"Lester, what's the matter?"
"President, Simon is going to report you, Miss Smith, and Officer Charm to the police," Lester said.
"If he's going to file a lawsuit, let him be." Heinz replied in a deep voice, "Do you think I am afraid of him?''.
