Heinz asked carefully, "What happened to Alice and Jensen? Why do I feel that they have something on their minds all of a sudden? Did they not have a good talk and had a quarrel last night?"
"They've broken up." Then, Grace glanced at him, unable to blame this result on Heinz, since it was all but inevitable.
"Did things really escalate until that happened?" Heinz exclaimed. "That shouldn't be the case. Was it because I said all that yesterday that made Alice break up with Jensen?"
Grace shook her head and said, "I don't blame you. Although you started this, we still did not tell her the truth. Alice probably thinks that Jensen doesn't love her and he chose to be with her just to be responsible for her."
Heinz frowned and asked, "Is there a difference? Without love or feelings, how can one be responsible?"
Grace looked blankly at his natural expression and said, "It's right to say that, but Officer Charm approached Alice because he wanted to take responsibility, and not for so-called love. This is something that we can't deny. I'm afraid that even Jensen can't deny it either."
"Because the original purpose was not so clear and direct, Alice has a shadow in her heart." Grace looked at Heinz and added, "Men and women's opinion of love is different, and their thoughts are even more different."
"You mean that love is the only way for the two of them to be together?" Heinz had heard so much, so he had a rough idea of what was going on.
Grace nodded and said, "Yes, this is the basic requirement for a woman. Of course, some people will do it for other purposes, but us sisters are not as complicated as you think."
Heinz's deep eyes turned. While moving, he said with bright eyes, "Do you mean that you are with me for love?"
Grace was stunned by his words. She pursed her lips and didn't want to talk to him anymore.
"This guy."
"What a cunning man."
Seeing that Grace did not speak, Heinz snorted and said, "You are together with me because of love. That was why you repeatedly broke up with me before. It turned out to be because of this that you have always been so hypocritical."
"What did you say, we're discussing Alice and Jensen, aren't we? Why did you drag us into this?"
Heinz said, "I just care about whether you love me or not. I don't know and I don't care whether Alice likes Jensen or not, nor do I care whether Jensen returns her feelings. It's their fate. I only care about you and whether you love me or not."
He spoke as he approached Grace and looked at her.
Grace ignored him as she didn't want to look at him. His aura was too powerful, making her feel suffocated. She could only turn her face away, wishing to take a step back.
Heinz smiled and stretched out his slender hand. He gently lifted up Grace's chin so that she could face his eyes.
"Why don't you dare to say anything?"
Grace stretched out her hand and pulled his hand away while saying, "Don't make trouble."
"I just want to know. Say it quickly; say you love me." He became interested again and wanted to hear what she said.
"Don't you know that already?" Grace said angrily, "We're getting married anyway."
How could they be together if she didn't love him?
Although she and Heinz had children already, she was also not someone who would settle down just for their sake.
She was responsible for the children and more so for herself. Without feelings, how could she agree to marry Heinz?
Heinz said in a low voice, "What's wrong with getting married? Say that you love me."
Grace replied, "Okay, I know, you love me." Grace pulled his hand down and she didn't want to say it. It was pointless to do so.
"You!" Heinz rolled his eyes and said, "You're really making me mad."
