True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 641

Alice tensed up immediately. She felt very stressed as she sat with Jensen's mother.

She believed that this was probably due to the psychological trauma that Rosalie had left in her. That was why she was unconsciously nervous.

Her palms were soaked with sweat and her back was tensed. She sat there with her back straight and did not relax at all. Moreover, she didn't touch the steak on her plate anymore.

It was as if she lost her appetite in an instant.

Grace smiled and looked at Rosalie, but said to Alice, "Alice, help her order the dishes and ask her what she likes."

Alice tensed up even more and turned to Grace for help.

Grace gave her an encouraging look.

Alice immediately turned to Rosalie and asked, "Madam, what would you like to eat? I'll order for you."

"There's no need," Rosalie said in a deep voice. "You don't have to please me. You won't be able to enter our house anyway."

The atmosphere instantly dropped to the freezing point again.

Rosalie's transparent announcement made everyone feel stifled.

Alice froze and her face was also extremely pale. She pursed her lips together and sat there, not knowing how to respond.

Given her temper, of course, she would knock out the person directly. However, that person was Jensen's mother. She was afraid that she wouldn't be able to control herself, and that she would be so angry that she would push her to death.

"Do you mean that Alice will not marry into your family?" Grace still asked with a smile.

"Let me tell you the truth," Rosalie said directly to Grace. "Your sister isn't a candidate to become my daughter-in-law."

"Okay!" Grace nodded and said, "I got it. Since you don't intend to ask Alice to enter your house, we don't necessarily have to enter either. We don't like rushing things and we don't really care."

Hearing this, Rosalie frowned.

Jovane's eyes lit up. She was very excited and wanted to watch this bustling scene. She wanted to see how the situation would go.

"Very well. Consider yourself a perceptive person," Rosalie said, curling her lips. "You're much better than your sister."

"My sister is not bad either." Grace said in a deep voice, "She is righteous and sensible so she didn't do anything to you. If it were someone else, Alice would have beaten them down right away. She is a master of Taekwondo, but she knows to respect elders, especially her boyfriend's mother. At least she's well-bred."

Jovane was stunned and her eyes were shining with more excitement.

Rosalie's expression was very ugly. "Are you saying that I'm ill-bred?"

"Nope." Grace smiled faintly and said, "Why are you still anxious? I'm just talking about the matter. Why do you feel so guilty that you have to assume that it's you? It's nothing at all. Why are you so worried?"

"Hmph!" Rosalie didn't stand it. "You're still a bit too naive to be so fake in front of me."

After thinking for a while, Grace continued to smile slightly and said, "I'm not fake, but it's necessary to maintain basic social etiquette and smile. Everyone in the workplace is clear about this. It's not convenient for us to vent our emotions at any time and any place, but it doesn't mean that we don't have feelings."

Rosalie was stunned again and the anger in her heart surged out. "Y-You dare say that I don't have a career?"

For the past few years, she had stayed at home and did not work.

When it came to her pain, Rosalie was so humiliated that she became angry, but she couldn't do anything about it.

Grace was very surprised. "I'm sorry. I just met you today. I don't know about your job situation. We're just talking about ourselves."

In the face of Grace's nonchalant smile, Rosalie was even more irritated. She would rather argue with others than face such a calm person. How could a young girl be able to face her and maintain her temper?
