True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 646

"I'll talk to Uncle Charm another day." Heinz said, "If this continues, Aunt Brooks will be more tormented and it will be more difficult for you then."

Jensen thought so too. If things went on like this, he would die from exhaustion. It had not been just one or two days that Rosalie had been acting like this.

They came out of the hospital and before they arrived at the parking lot, Jensen's phone rang.

He glanced at it and showed it to Heinz helplessly. "Look, I've only walked a few steps and she already called me."

"Aunt Brooks?"

"Who else could it be if not her?" Jensen did not want to answer the phone.

"Answer it and listen to what she says," Heinz said.

Jensen could only answer the phone, "Mom."

"Where did you go?" Rosalie asked.

"I'm about to go back," Jensen said.

"Go back to where?"

"Workplace."

"What workplace?" Rosalie's voice was sharp. "I believe you're going to look for that woman. I'm still in the hospital, but you're already indulging in s*x. Do you think it's appropriate?"

Jensen was speechless.

Heinz picked up the phone and said, "Aunt Brooks, I'm Heinz. Jensen, you should go back and have a rest. If you really need someone, I'll make arrangements for you."

"Heinz, you haven't left yet?" Rosalie was stunned and obviously surprised.

"Yes, Jensen and I are leaving now." Heinz said, "Do you need a nurse?"

"No need." Rosalie looked at the phone and said uneasily, "I'm fine now."

She hung up quickly.

Jensen took out a cigarette, lit one, and asked Heinz, "Do you smoke?"

"Give me one." Heinz also lit one. He took a deep breath, puffed out white smoke, and said, "Aunt Brooks is really looking for trouble. You do have a hard life, Jensen."

Jensen was very helpless. "But there's nothing I can do."

What could he do if he had such a mother? "You should know your strength and know when to stop." Heinz said, "You must know when to put your foot down. You can't agree to everything."

"I know!" Jensen nodded. "Go back and apologize to Grace for me."

"Grace is fine," Heinz said. "Don't worry. As long as Alice is fine, Grace will definitely be fine. She'd definitely bless you two."

"I understand. I will go back and comfort Alice now," Jensen said. "To be honest, I have no strength at all when I see my Mom. I just want to escape, but when I remember that she is my mother, I know that I can't turn a blind eye."

"I understand." Heinz nodded. "I already have a headache from spending a while here."

Jensen smiled and said, "I'm sorry."

"No need to be polite to me." Heinz patted him on the shoulder. "You should go back. You should rest after your work is settled."

Only then did the two leave in their own cars.

Jensen soon drove to Emerald Apartment.

When he arrived, Alice was already there. He saw that the lights were on, so he got out of the car and knocked on the door.

When the door opened, Alice saw Jensen. Looking into his tired eyes, she asked worriedly, "Jensen, is your mother all right?" "She's fine." Jensen's voice sounded a bit choked. In the end, Alice's concern for Rosalie made Jensen feel even more upset.

He felt very sorry for Alice.

It had really put them in an awkward situation when Rosalie said such things about Alice and Grace.

When he saw Alice again, Jensen felt guilty.

He entered the apartment, changed his shoes, stood at the door, and said to Alice, "I'm sorry. I've caused you and Grace to feel aggrieved."

Alice shook her head and said, "It's fine."
