Lester could not bear to see Heinz's appearance and he asked with concern, "President, are you okay?"
Heinz didn't move and he clenched his fists by his side. After a long while, he said, "Let's go to the Lawson family."
"President, let me go." Lester said worriedly, "You'd better take care of Miss Smith. Right now, she is emotional and I hope she doesn't get into trouble again."
Heinz paused for a moment. A look of conflict flitted across his handsome face. He nodded and said hoarsely, "You're right. I'll go right now."
Lester and Heinz went their separate ways and headed for their respective destinations.
Heinz thought that Grace should have gone to Emerald Apartment by now.
However, when he arrived, he knocked on the door and Jensen came to open it.
When he saw Heinz, he frowned and asked in surprise, "Why are you here? Aren't you two going to get your marriage certificate today?" "Did Grace come over or not?" Heinz asked.
He did not pay attention to Jensen's question.
"No." Jensen shook his head. "Only Alice and I are at home."
Heinz was stunned and said to Jensen, "If Grace comes, tell me."
"Okay!" Jensen nodded and was very surprised. "But Heinz, what's wrong with you two? You don't look good."
"It's nothing." Heinz didn't want to talk about such an embarrassing thing, nor did he want to cause other people trouble, so he smiled and flashed an extremely embarrassed and weak smile.
"You don't look like you are okay." Jensen said, "Have you called Grace?"
"Don't worry about it." Heinz said, "You go do your things."
He turned around and left quickly without looking back.
Jensen closed the door and went back. Alice was still lying in bed. Jensen did not hurry to go to his workplace nor to the hospital for a few days.
The two of them were going to have dinner with Nelson that evening and Alice was very soundly asleep.
"I seemed to have heard Heinz's voice just now." Alice peeked out from under the blanket. "Jensen, did he and Grace get their marriage certificate already?"
"I don't think so." Jensen shook his head. "I noticed something was wrong just now. Heinz's expression was very bad. It seems like something big has happened. Perhaps their marriage isn't going well?"
"Huh?" Alice immediately got up from the bed and looked at Jensen with wide eyes. She asked nervously, "What's going on? Did Heinz say anything?"
"No." Jensen shook his head. "I don't know what's going on. I'm just guessing by looking at his pale face. I wonder what's going on."
"I'll call Grace." Alice was already in a panic, and then she became anxious. "The fact that they didn't go get their marriage certificate early in the morning and Heinz came here to find Grace means that something has happened."
Alice kept talking and began to look for her phone.
Jensen took her phone from the bedside and handed it to her. "Your phone is here. Alice, when you talk, talk nicely to Grace. Don't ask her directly."
Alice was startled. She looked at Jensen and nodded knowingly. "I know. I won't ask her directly."
Only then did Jensen feel a little relieved. Life was really full of twists and turns.
Alice picked up the phone and called Grace's number.
"The number is engaged!" She put down the phone and looked at Jensen with a frown. "Is it Heinz who is calling Grace?"
"Maybe," Jensen said. "You can try calling again."
"Okay!"
