Jodie was trembling with anger at Aaron's accusation. "Aaron, did you just say that I am shameless? What about you? It was you who held me down in the tent back then. You could not control yourself and had sex with me. When we met again six years later, you slept with me again that night. You are actually denying it. I look down on you," she said angrily.
His eyes darkened. His wild and intractable eyes locked on hers and he said ruthlessly, "Jodie, stop twisting logic with your words and playing tricks on me. You were the one who took the initiative."
"I didn't." She was used to denying it directly.
"You cried that night, didn't you? You fell on me. If you insist on pursuing whose responsibilities it is, both of us found it hard to control ourselves when we reunited after a long separation. In the end, we lost our minds." Aaron said, "I admit that if I hadn't reacted, I wouldn't have touched you, even if you took the initiative to pounce on me."
"You admit it." Jodie shouted, "It was you!"
"Don't you have any part in this? The medical team's lounge was not soundproof. You could' ve shouted for help. According to your statement, you can blame me if you did. However, if you didn't shout, that at least proves that you were pleased."
"Stop talking about whose responsibility it is." Her eyes darkened.
Since it had already happened, there was no point in trying to figure out whose fault it was.
She wanted Heinz to be with her, but he didn't want to be with her. There was no point in anything else.
Aaron used to love her so much, but now his expression was awful.
She laughed at herself. "Aaron, I finally got to know you today. You can deny that you framed Grace, but I know that it was you. You must have been involved. It's you. You hate Heinz for getting my love. You not only did not get my love, but you also can’t own me thoroughly. That’s why you hate him!"
"It doesn't matter if you don't admit it. I know what you're thinking. You hate Heinz and you want him to see his own woman suffer. You must have rejoiced secretly inside, right?"
"Am I speaking your thoughts? It doesn't matter if you don't confess it. Anyway, Heinz will also investigate this."
"That's your opinion." Aaron said harshly, "I don't want to argue with you."
On the other side, Jensen, who had been watching the situation inside, ordered Alex in a deep voice, "Go and check Aaron's house. Don't let go of any traces."
"Shall we go and search now?"
"Yes." Jensen said, "Check every corner of his house. I'll send someone to check his office in the hospital. There will always be something in the safe-deposit box at the bank, and they are very valuable."
"Yes, sir!"
"Hurry up," Jensen demanded.
"Yes." Alex immediately went to check.
Jensen continued to peer at Aaron and Jodie.
She purposely wanted to expose Aaron's actions, but he deliberately let everyone think that Jodie was the mastermind. Both of them accused each other.
Jensen seemed very calm.
He was not in a hurry.
Jodie got up from the ground. She leaned against the wall and stood firmly. She observed Aaron and said, "I'm really stupid. I am only learning what kind of person you are now. You're not as good as Heinz."
He narrowed then moved his eyes up and down. There was anger in his eyes. However, Aaron endured it and set his dark eyes on Jodie unblinkingly.
