True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 835

Little Gary was shocked.

When he turned around and saw his aunt, especially her ashen face, he had an uncanny sense that something terrible would happen.

He quickly reacted and said, "No, we didn't say anything." He knew that his little aunt was prone to rashness. If she found out that Lowell and Heinz had the same father, she would probably go mad. It would be dreadful.

Ernest was also quick-witted. Almost as soon as Little Gary mentioned it, he thought of it too. He nodded and said, "That's right. We didn't say anything."

"I smell a rat! I heard it clearly, so don't lie to me. Tell me the truth about Lowell's last name, or I'll lose my temper."

Alice knew that these two little guys were not telling the truth. Just now, she heard the sentence plainly when she walked over.

Little Gary and Ernest looked at each other and shook their heads simultaneously. They said almost at the same time, "We really didn't say anything."

"Aunt Alice, you must have misheard it."

Looking at the two little guys who cooperated well with each other, she frowned and said coldly, "What are you trying to cover up?"

"No," said Gary while he continued to shake his head.

Ernest also shook his head and said, "Aunty, why did you ask us such a strange question?"

Alice knew that she couldn't get any information from them, thus she directly turned to Lowell and said, "Lowell, tell me what they were talking about just now."

He did not look good, and it seemed that he was frightened by Alice's imposing manner.

Gary saw his expression, and he immediately interrupted by saying, "Aunty, why are you so fierce? Can't you see that Lowell is so unconfident? You are so fierce to him, causing him to lose his confidence."

Alice would not fall for it and she said, "Get out of my way. Don't try to get away with it."

Little Gary denied and said, "I didn't. Why do I have to get away with it? I don't know what you're talking about."

Alice looked at Lowell and asked, word by word, "Lowell, what's your last name? Tell me the truth, or you will bear the consequences."

He was scared by her serious expression and his face became paler. He looked at her and stuttered. He couldn't speak properly for a long time.

Seeing him like that, she became more anxious. She said, "Hurry up and explain it clearly. What exactly is going on?"

Lowell knew he couldn't hide it. Since he had told Grace, he should have told Alice too. He whispered, "My last name is Jones."

She narrowed her eyes and asked, "What do you mean by 'last name is Jones'?"

The color drained from her face when he told her that.

He stopped talking. He could see that she was more impulsive than Grace. He was really afraid that she would be enraged.

Little Gary instantly helped Lowell out of the predicament. "Aunty, why are you still asking us? I think you should call and ask Uncle Charm. Maybe he knows something since he called Heinz just now. Heinz's face darkened in a second when he heard that, just like how you are now. Why don't you go and ask him?"

"That's right. Aunty, why don't you ask Uncle Charm?" Ernest also chimed in.

"Did Jensen call?"

"Yes," Ernest nodded and said.

She was stubborn and said, "So what? I don't want to ask Jensen now. At least before I ask him, I want to know something from you guys first."

Little Gary spoke again, "Aunty, why do you have to do this?"
