True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 870

"What kind of reason is this? You didn't know that you were going to die soon and gave birth to a child. Don't you know that you are already old?"

Timothy couldn't help but retort.

"I'm still a year younger than you." Candace said softly, "I gave birth to the child when I was a little past 40 years old. I wasn't too old."

He was so infuriated by her and couldn't say a word. He could only look at her blankly, and couldn't help but snort. "A child in your forties is also late. Are you addicted to giving birth to children?"

She shook her head and said, "It's not that I'm addicted to having children, but I have never had a son. I only had daughters with you and Anderson, and I just wanted to try to get a son. Look at me, I have a son and daughters now, and my life is good."

"Good?" He sneered. "I really don't see the goodness in it."

"It's so good that I'm about to die. Going to heaven. Isn't it beautiful?"

She spoke with a smile, but Timothy could hear and sense the bitter self-mockery in her tone. He looked away and stared at the mountains in the distance. He couldn't see anything clearly in the darkness, but could only see a hazy shadow.

He said coldly, "How do you know you will go to heaven after death? Maybe you will go to hell."

"Timothy, are you not going to bless me? You still hate me. You would rather that I go to hell than to let me go to heaven, don't you?" She said, tilting her head and looking at him with a smile. "It seems that you still resent me. I have completely wronged you. In fact, everything turns to dust at the end of life. The grudge between us can't end?"

"If I hadn't left you back then, you wouldn't have gotten a wife, would you? You even have two sons with her. A chance encounter in this life would naturally lead to another. There are always two sides to a coin. If you miss this scenery, there will naturally be another one."

He pursed his lips and gritted his teeth. The sides of his temples were pulsating.

He was trying to hold it all in, but the anger in his entire chest was boiling.

Finally, he chided in a deep voice, "So your apology and regret just now were just a show. You asked me to bring you here, but you didn't hesitate to fool me. Your apology and regret were not sincere. You are just using me, aren't you?"

"Uh!" She was stunned and looked at Timothy as if she didn't know him. Suddenly, she smiled and said, "Why are you so narrowminded? Do you think that when a person is dying, they would make such a joke?"

"What could I do to make use of you? I am a proud person. How could I use you in the end?"

"I could have taken a taxi to find the person I needed after I left the hospital, but I was waiting for you, Timothy."

"Am I not worthy of your trust for just once? Even when I'm on the verge of dying, I know I made a mistake during my life, so I am apologizing to you. Do you doubt my sincerity?"

"Do you have sincerity? You have never been a sincere person in your life. You are an arrogant person. If you are sincere, why did you resort to using our daughter, Grace?"
